For those who doesn't know how to make it work:
Install the shit, go into the folder "HATRED"
Copy the launch program and put the shit in the install directory.
That meaning; C:\Program Files (x86)\Paradox Interactive\Penumbra Black Plague\redist
If you have problems with the fucking lag or "funny" colors during gameplay, then right-click the launch icon, into "properties", you press compatibility and change the modus into "Windows 2000" or something else that's newer than that.
If this still doesn't work for ya, then buy the game or find another download.
P.s: Downloading the crack-fix might also fix the issue.

Torrent works great, mount ISO with daemon tools and install. Put crack in the folder and copy/overwrite. Worked 100% and beat it with only a minor issue at the end of the game. Was resolved with installing the most recent patch from the companies website.

SabinaBina, i had that problem too, all you have to do is play around with the graphic settings in the game menu a little bit, turn shadow shader to normal, and turn off antialiasing, and then one more thing that turns on like 4 things like bloom and stuff, just look and you'll find it. hope I helped! :D

Working fine on Win7. Just install the game normally, copy the content of the "Hatred" folder to the "redist" one where you installed the game (If you're unsure, you'll be prompted to replace one of the files. If you're not asked to do so, you're doing something wrong).

For guys having a problem with the OpenAl32.dll thing, when you install and finish everything, there is a file outside the Redist called "oalinst", double click and approve the installation, voila. Idk if it works for the 64 bit guys, mine is 32.

Torrent works wonderfully. No need to mount ISO. Also, anybody who's having rendering problems, (invisible objects, bright pink/purple/green objects, character sources of light not reacting to surroundings) this worked for me. Open graphics options, switch shader quality to from high to medium. My graphics card isn't very good and this solved the problem.
