i hear ya, was hoping for feedback. I finished downloading and scanned it came up clean will give it a run and see what happens. FYI, i read on some forums that this new image won't fit on some units and you need to delete some of the un-needed languages and other extras.

Yes, simply delete the huge file on the device before transferring the new maps. I think it's gmapsupp.img in the \Garmin folder.

I was hoping my software version on my Nuvi 750 would be updated. Unfortunately, this did not occur.
The POIs were updated as I did a quick test after loading the new NT 2010 maps.
How do you update the Nuvi software to newer versions?

Unfortunately, I discovered that you CAN NOT use a firmware version for another Nuvi model on your model.
Bottom line: This torrent updates the maps and POIs. It works great and there were no viruses detected. All in all, a great torrent.
Mr. Scoot is to be commended.

For whatever reason, I continue to get a message that the application did not install correctly and that I should reinstall. If 2009 is not there, does that make a difference?

Huh...I removed it. Deleted the file, re-downloaded it again and then after a reboot, reinstalled. Everything worked like a charm. Sweet. Thanks man!

I'm a noob, so please be patient!
DL'd it, trying to follow the instructions. When the map reverse converter runs (step one), it's asking for a map to convert into the c:/garmin folder.....but I'm not sure what/where that "map" is? Is the map included in the DL somewhere....and if so where?

downloaded and converted as instructed. did the unlock bat and when i double click icon the map is not there "cannot find the following file; c:\garmin\city navigator north america nt_2010.1\cnnant\2010_10.img
Map sourse will now exit.
I checked and that file is not in that dir. any sudgestions? Im usually pretty good at figuring out how to make downloads run from intstuctions posted but im stumped.

The Map Converter appears not to work on an non-english operating system. I tried it at two different english machines and it worked fine.
How to install it at another OS-language:
Make sure you have access to both a computer with an english OS and another with your native language.
Do step 1 from Marbss instructions at both a native OS and an english OS.
Copy the english map data to the native.
Continue with the rest of the steps from Marbss.

After struggling for 2 days to install following previous posts, I gave up w/ the conversion method. It's rather pointless.
One post mentioned jetmouse and 450 code does the trick. I just click through the entire installation, mapsource and all. upgrade to latest even. Then use jetmouse 1.5 w/ 450 FID code to unlock all the maps for my mobile PC.
Transfer does take an hour, but its painless, no error. Now I'm looking at my mobile PC nice and sweet.

I am missing something. The conversion seems to go fine. I only got a message on the CNNANT_2010_10_mdr.img file saying that it contained no map details. Then I start MapSource 6.13.7, but I can't open ANY of the converted files. What am I missing?

Previously to make this work, I tried to install the latest MapSource included with the maps, but MapSource would not run properly on my computer anymore. Had to desinstall it.
Here is what worked out for me, really easy.
I have Mapsource version 6.13.7 installed already, but if you don't, it should work.
1- Run the MapReverseConverterENU.exe file
2- Select the folder .../City Navigator North America NT 2010.10.gmap for the maps to be converted for.
3- Open Mapsource
4- With MapID 450 (region code), and your personal Unit ID, use JetMouse utility to generate a 25-digit Key that you will enter into MapSource to unlock the maps.
This worked like a charm for my GPSMAP 60CSX.

marbss instructions were perfect. Just finished loading the maps onto a nuvi 760. The maps have nothind to do with text to speech or voice or anything like that, so you must've accidentally deleted a file or changed a setting on your device. There is no virus in these files, so idk why you picked one up. Back up your waypoints...

Followed these instructions on PDF Torrent, then used JETMOUSE KEYGEN 1.5 with MAP ID 450.
All is up in Mapsource and unlocked.
