Any chance we can get this with split files please?

nac30 (2010-06-12)

You could split it yourself - with EAC, for example...

Eizo47 (2011-02-13)

Thx!!!!

User897 (2011-11-30)

This effort is much appreciated, but having to separate the tracks is a pain in the ass. It doesn't take more effort on the ripper's part to separate them, so not doing so is just senseless.

User897 (2011-12-01)

Every attempt to open these in EAC has failed, stating that the format is not accepted. So, I just downloaded 2.99GB of horseshit.
Very disappointing.

User897 (2011-12-01)

Okay, I figured out how to split these tracks. It's a pain in the ass, but here goes:
Use dBPoweramp to convert the single FLAC file into a single WAV file. You have to do this because EAC will not work otherwise.
Open EAC and go to Tools. Select Split WAV by CUE Sheet. Double click the single WAV file, then double click the WAV CUE file, NOT the FLAC CUE file.
It will then split the tracks into individual WAV files. The ID tags will be blank so it is up to you to fill them.
I hope this helps some of you out there that might not have downloaded this otherwise. To nac30, I am very grateful to you for sharing, but PLEASE don't rip a CD like this again! :)

tiktianc (2012-01-05)

haven't torrented this yet, but I usually just use "Medieval Cue Splitter" worked pretty good on pretty much all of my stuff, pretty easy and simple too.
my 2 cents...

MixedUpZombie (2012-03-09)

what the fuck man? no split FLAC files? LOL like what are we supposed to do, skip to our favorite song like animals? this isn't the 40's.

harrison2026 (2012-12-01)

Stop complaining people. This is how CDs should be ripped.
Just download proper tools and split the tracks if you have to. For example "Medieval Cue Splitter" and "MusicBrainz Picard" and you're done in 5 minutes.
If your music player can't handle CUE files and 'separate' tracks 'on-the-fly', blame yourself.
Good day, gentlemen.

@nac30... can you upload the original audio cd? I am looking for the cda file with the original bitrate, uncompressed. I understand that it is a huge file for all the 3 albums, but I really need them. Here in India, tax on digital media imports is way too much, so don't want to order for amazon.

frailwordscollapse (2013-01-17)

Guys, give him a break and quit your bitching. All you need to do is split the files using Medieval Cue Splitter, and then use Switch Sound File Converter to encode the FLAC files however you want. Nac30 went to a lot of trouble to upload this absolutely FLAWLESS copy of the LotR complete recordings.

k.earnil (2013-04-13)

Anyone who is not able to find out how to split whole EAC file into separate tracks when the .cue IS INCLUDED, does not have the right to listen to it! Go and download mp3s, idiots.

Kotmann (2014-01-11)

Not splitted??? Haaahahah Fuck of....
