Having missed the first band, and as they were kind enough to point me in the right direction of the venue, I promptly paid my $2 and found Jon from Wisconsin inside, and quite sauced to say the least. The free beer was pouring and a hint of metal was in the air... Alongside the railing leading into several inhabitants' living quarters a foreign-accented Iron Maiden cover band was setting up and the crowd was quite restless to get the music started, which led to some interesting crowd noise that was to grace my microphones (and now your ears). After the technical difficulties following the opener, "Aces High," and the Metallica guitar riffs easily belted out on track 04, we are treated to the most accurate(ly) (dressed) rendition of Iron Maiden that you would have been able to see stateside in 2007!
