The new one is true Bluray quality, while the older looks like upsized DVD. I treated it with my magic to create my enhanced quality edition, but in this case there is very little to enhance, so it is just ordinary BDRIP. Also there seems to be a problem with Haali Media Splitter. If you are using Media Player Classic, please make sure you have enabled INTERNAL FILTER for MP4. 2. My releases are different than anybodys else, so they SHOULD NOT be compared to any existing scene rules. I believe that if there are different rules for Telecine and for DVDRip, there should be also different set of rules for FASM QEBS releases. If The Scene overregulates itself, prohibiting new ideas to come, it will soon become like our governments. 5. If you like the movie, show your gratitude to the creators by going to cinema or buying Bluray/DVD ! 6. These movies can be directly streamed through WWW using Adobe Flash Player version 9 or higher. 7. The name FASM was derived from assembler efficiency. When you write something directly in assembler, it usually runs much faster and has smaller size, than the same thing written in C, Java etc. It also means FAchman SoofMan - founders of FASM 8. FASM Quality Enhancer Bitrate Squeezer is h264 compression method optimized directly for lowbitrate HD contents. It is constantly being improved, each revision brings quality to a new level. Its efficiency over standard x264 encoding is explained by the same reasons as XVID encodes are better than DIVX3. 9. FASM recommends IMGBURN for burning those files into DVD. 10.Any subtitles made for different releases, but taken from the same source (Bluray Rip) should also work with this release.

Picture is good, but, regretably, this is yet AGAIN a rip where active sound normalization is used, which means the sound volume goes up and down thoughout the movie.

volume levels are unchanged from DTS, no normalisation were used. Its just how it suppose to sound...

dear friend i think you are not quite familiar with technical terms.
Original soundtrack have different levels of volume depend on the action, which means the sound volume goes up and down thoughout the movie.
Sound normalisation is the process where the differencies between low and high volume sounds is smaller hence the volume is similar for every part of the movie.
I have used transparent encoding of dts, so you have the sound like it was in original soundtrack. If you want the sound normalisation you need to use external function of your player/decoder.

well you guys with you're dull vision might be fine with it but if i wanted to watch a HDTV movie that is compressed to hell i will just watch it on satellite or cable. if it doesn't matter then they would have just released 1080p movies on DVD disks and not HDDVD or BLURAY
