The benefit over installing a personal firewall to block nero is obvious.. less ressources wasted. I "modded" the autoit script, it includes a few serials, a nag screen, and only the main program and Recode. Adjust it to your needs! ------------ Simple IPSec Policy to keep Nero from contacting its validation Servers. In other words: blocks all outgoing connections to ports: 52662 and 64697 If happen to have an application that runs on these as well, this will make it stop working. If you notice anything unusual, delete the rule. Step-by-step How-to: ------------ English --------------- - Go to Start, Run, enter: "secpol.msc", press enter. - rightclick "IP Security Policies on local computer" - "All Tasks" -> "Import Policies" -> Choose my neroblocker.ipsec - Rightclick the new rule ("Nero blocker"), and hit "Assign". Close. Done. ------------ GERMAN ---------------- Start, Ausführen, "secpol.msc" eingeben, enter drücken. auf "IP Sicherheitsrichtlinien für Lokaler Computer" rechtsklicken "Alle Tasks" -> "Richtlinie importieren" -> neroblocker.ipsec auswählen auf die neue Regel rechtsklicken (d.h. auf "Nero blocker") -> "Zuweisen" drücken. Hi all, im using vista 64bit and i would say im not a newby as i built my machine , but i must say i have no idea how to do this shit in vista 64 , typing that ipsec.msc doesnt work 4 me with my run command , so im stuck ,either this is bullshit or im doing somthing wrong!

Kattanablade just double click "IP Security Policies on local computer" and you will see neroblocker.ipsec on the right. Right click and choose assign.

1) Copy files "AutoIt3.exe", "Install.cmd" and "Nero8_2.2.au3"
to any temp directory.
what is temp directory? i mean the exact temp directory? i am lose my mind on this damn..
and the step 2 actually
2) Copy the Nero 8 installer executable
to the same directory.
I'M SORRY ABOUT THIS BUT I NEED YOUR HELP

I did some research and it turns out people with XP Home Edition can't do the secpol.msc command.
