Uh I take back my last comment. It burned 0 byte files on both CD's I had and I don't have any left.
Not sure why but everything is set properly and I am using vista.

can someone please answer this question...
Why is it that none of the top cd burning softwares will burn an mp3 music cd in the correct order?? ( the order i want them in )..i make a playlist order..JUST BURN THE DAMN SONGS in that order!!!! lol i put them in a specific order for a reason and for the life of me i can't figure this out.
It's mind boggling. for YEARS ,the only software that will burn an mp3 music cd in the order I PUT THE TRACKS IN has been """Acoustica mp3"".but the program is buggy , sometimes too much. Iv'e tried, Every nero, roxio, and other cd burning software out there and I just can't get over the fact that these programs want to sort out your music the way IT wants to instead of Keeping the order that you make the playlist in. the software wants to either alphabetize them automaticall or sort them in order from 0-100+ . why does software think that it knows what order i want my songs in ? they all completely ignore the playlist order. the only other option...RENAME every song..yeah.. like im going to go through 200 songs and rename them. I make mp3 music mixes. i need the songs to be in proper order that I PUT THEM IN..should be SUPER EASY...sort the songs, press "burn"..the software should BURN them onto a cd.. not mess around with the order like it has a brain that knows what someone wants. NO SOFTWARE OUT THERE OTHER THAN ACOUSTICA WILL BURN THE PLAYLIST CORRECTLY... WHAT AM I MISSING???? you are obviously very frustrated, but not one program except this acoustica will allow you to change the order of songs. It has been like that for years and obviously it will not change. Every program will sort them by name or by number.
You should learn how to bypass that problem, and not spend years saying that it can't be done, and it is very easy, copy all the songs in one folder, in that folder make your on list by renaming the songs, 01, 02 .. and that is it.
I have been doing that for more then 10 years, just accept it and make your own list before burning by renaming the actual files.

It will change, if enough people agree that it should, and enough noise is made that the companies coding the software realize that song ordering is a desired feature. That's how programs are improved, and user friendliness is a major selling point for those companies. Having to perform extra steps and spending more time burning a disc is not just "the way it is". It wouldn't take much to convince an aspiring software writer to include a feature that keeps song order, nor would it be difficult to implement. Aside from that, there are several, in fact quite a few, programs that allow you to keep song order. You just have to know where to look in the options dialogue.
