I'm a noob at this stuff, so can someone please tell me how to seed so I can help others with this?

Well, to seed files, first you have to download it. Then (at least in my case) you have to keep a copy of the file in the directory your files go into. In my case, the files seed automatically as soon as they're done, but that may be solely because of the software I'm using, so YMMV.

How to play KOTOR on Windows 7:
1. Install the game, patch it with the official 1.03 patch and crack it with the 1.03 fixed EXE by FairLight (For the "Collection" version you don't need to patch the game, you only need to apply the 1.03 crack from FairLight - some people complain that the included crack from FightClub in the "Collection" disk is not working, so use FairLight crack instead).
2. Make a shortcut to the game exe (swkotor.exe) and place it anywhere (desktop, etc.). Right-click on it and select "Properties". Look for the "Shortcut" tab, then look for the "Target" line.
3. Add the following text BEFORE your default path ( mine is "D:GamesStar Wars Knights of the Old Republicswkotor.exe" ):
C:WindowsSystem32cmd.exe /C START "swkotor" /affinity 0x1
4. After I did the above, my game path is looking like this:
C:WindowsSystem32cmd.exe /C START "swkotor" /affinity 0x1 "D:GamesStar Wars Knights of the Old Republicswkotor.exe"
5. I was able to completely play the game without any more problems.
