When the company leans hard on Wigand to honor a confidentiality agreement, he gets his back up. Trusting Bergman and despite a crumbling marriage, he goes on camera for a Mike Wallace interview and risks arrest for contempt of court. Westinghouse is negotiating to buy CBS, so CBS attorneys advise CBS News to shelve the interview and avoid a lawsuit. "60 Minutes" and CBS News bosses cave, Wigand's hung out to dry, Bergman is compromised, and the CEOs of Big Tobacco may get away with perjury. Can the truth will out?

One of the best rips I saw. Great video quality. Thanks!

bigdump (2011-03-25)

@EiNST3iN:
normal?? mkv is far superior because it allows multiple audio tracks and other info to be stored... it outclasses avi in almost every respect... mp4 is really good for nothing.... i'd say most people prefer mkv these days... you should really research the facts before using words like 'normal', as it shows you don't know what you're talking about... anyway, download vlc player and start using that for everything from now on.... you really chose the wrong username...

albokid89 (2011-06-01)

very good! +1

HelloDolly1 (2011-06-05)

@bigdump
You've chosen the correct username, because what you just said was plain and simple bullshit.
"you should really research the facts before using words like 'normal'"
Normal is what most people use. What is considered normal, is basicly just a matter of statistics. MKV has its advantages of course, but it's still not as popular as AVI or MPEG.
66% of all web video is actually H.264, which makes it the most popular and 'normal'.

@HelloDolly1
What the f..., are you talking about, Einstein over there starts bitching about a high quality file, gratefully shared by someone asking nothing in return, without even saying THANKS or in his case PLEASE HELP I'M A MORON??? Big Dump has a point, this guy is bragging about "normal" and he's not using VLC???
Who's the big dump now????
Thanks YIFI.

nogodnojihad (2013-01-27)

Thanks for the upload, and I don't mind it being .mkv because I have free VLC.
But before you all form a mob behind the chest-thumper (Big Dump), you should first consider WHY MKV, when most media players still don't support it! Why are uploaders so hot on this format, when most people are happy with what will play through their nicer viewers (while there's no denying that VLC works, the interface is a bit crude)?
If it's all about support for still more layers of sound tracks, were so many even used prior to 2000 when this movie was made? Personally, I can't stand trying to take in a movie through my tinny laptop speakers when the file is encoded with the technology which makes the dialog inaudible compared to the deafening music which soon follows - what a fine PIA the industry has given us with that!

Biomecha (2013-03-25)

MKV and MP4 are just wrapper formats.
They both carry an encoded video stream (typically H.264), multiple soundtracks, chapter track, subtitle tracks.
I don't even need to transcode MKVs to MP4, I simply use Subler to rewrap the video and audio streams - takes 2 minutes on my old-ass computer, vs 20 minutes to transcode an AVI to MP4.
The quality of the movie is not in the wrapper, it's in the video and audio streams inside.

etariPBC (2013-03-29)

Almost anything besides WinAmp will play MKV files. Here's a list of players that all work.
Gom Player
Media Player Classic
Rules Player
DivX Plus Player
Windows Media Player

t3xton104 (2013-07-19)

been waiting to watch this.. thanks YIFY!

ouchyfish (2013-11-06)

I wish you people would put "mkv" in the fucking title so I don't even waste my time clicking on the bullshit. MKV is not superior to mp4 and until PS3's play them, they're fucking useless to me. (Fuck media servers and your mother.)

etariPBC (2013-12-29)

@ ouchyfish
I just have to...
ouchyfish you need a good flogging. First off PS3 does play MKV files - at least my kid's does, I've seen it. Don't know how to do it? Perhaps ya got to jailBreak it or perhaps not - I wouldn't know because consoles are for prepubescent button-mashing children.
Secondly... Why should the file format be in the title? Just click the mouse and you can see the files contained in the torrent, then you would know if it's a format you dislike.
Also, don't you have a PC?
I have a working Ambra (that's an IBM clone, just like all PCs are) 486 DX-2 66-megahertz with 16 megabytes of RAM - very archaic (circa 1992) that plays MKV movies running Windows v3.1 and also does it running OS/2 v2.1 still to this day (Windows 95 wasn't even out for another 3.5 years yet).
Thirdly the only BullShit is the popup, and no one can honestly say that closing the ad as soon as you don't like it is a waste of time, it doesn't pop up over yur current window. Ha Ha looser you don't know how to have The Bay not pop ads up! Cuz you suck at life!
Really you were referring to the format as BullShit though. Okay then.
Obviously you have some sort of computer, I mean - you didn't download the torrent with your PS3 right? Sooh... How come yur fucking PC won't play an MKV file? Are you even more stupid than you sound? (duh, yeah). Seriously, why don't you spend 5 minutes to download the codecs that will make yur PC play the MKV file. Lemme tip you off. Go to this little website I know about - I think it's called "The Pirate Bay" - and download any one of the number of codec packs that will enable you to play anything (If you need to pirate codecs, cuz all the free ones play anything anyway stupid) and just play the movie.
Lastly I will say this:
It is a fact that MKV is superior to MP4 for the simple reason that MKV files deliver better quality of sound and video in a smaller file than MP4 does. Also MKV format is capable of delivering more sound channels than the MP4 wrapper can contain.
ouchyfish - FUCK YOU! DIE SLOW!

vmjyogi (2014-01-07)

Lol, definitely the best comment board I've seen so far on TPB.
Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you, you're cool, fuck you.
I'm out.

Themistoclez (2014-08-08)

LoL.. Hilarious comment board.
-Ouchyfish- winner of 'The most selfish mother fucker on earth' or 'The biggest D bag' ??

Themistoclez (2014-08-08)

Oh Question - Is this the original version from Australia that got an NC-17 rating or the USA version that was rated R?

Themistoclez (2014-08-08)

Ooops, had 2 windows up, posted that question for the wrong movie. Been downloading some of Russel Crowes movies and meant to ask that question for "Romper Stomper". My bad.
