Yesterday when I played the game it worked great, but today I've been having a lot of problems with it. The picture freezes, while the audio keeps on going. I can hear myself walking around in the game, but I just see the same picture all the time. I've tried reinstalling and upgrading my video driver, but it didn't work. Yah...GTA4 is a superior "be the bad guy" type of open world game. The environments are often bland and lack luster. There doesn't feel to be any sense of immersion and the voice acting can be hit and miss.
And its very very easy.
Though shooting people in the knees to get them to pay up is always amusing, so it choking the life out of that topless dancer for slapping you.

You're reading the stats wrong you stupid european fuck. 3280 leechers, meaning those are people on the network who're downloading. They haven't reached 100%, therefor they're not a seed, but a leecher. 285 people are seeding, as in they're 100% done and are still uploading.
All of those 3280 people at the time you read those stats are uploading something in order to download, because that's how bit torrent works. If you don't upload you can't download, PERIOD! The client doesn't allow it. There is no way to "disable seeding" either.
And also, please tell me how bandwidth is our... "livlihood?". What in the fuckin' hell are you talking about? You know we don't have bandwidth limits here right? You, sir, prove that America is not the only place where idiocy and low I.Q.'s reside. Your world ends at the tip of your nose you fuckin' moron.

I dunno why people rip on this game, it's not that bad. You can't compare everything to GTA4. Nothing will ever be as good as GTA4, at least not for a long time. But the game is good, it's just not great. It's fun to play, the story, while it may lack some detail and character development, is decent, and the gameplay is pretty good. Car physics need revamping, but maybe they'll learn and the godfather 3 will finally be something to revere. As of right now it's still worth buying.

@xiIix: I don't understand it either. In some ways I found this BETTER than GTA IV (e.g. The mini-map is also 3D which makes it easier to navigate, the police system makes far more sense because a witness first has to see you and THEN call the police as opposed to having police come out of nowhere, the cover system is WAY better and up to par with Gears of War (at least in this PC version since it handled identically), the PC version of this game wasn't COMPLETE CRAP quality/performance, and there are many more reasons too but this isn't a full review I'm doing here). Other ways the game was not as good (e.g. Graphics were better, car handling, storyline/characters, the inability to "Jump" or "Climb up/over most ledges", the lackluster in game tutorials leaving you clueless on how to do certain actions.)
I'd say give this a try. I played through GTA IV from start to finish and I was certainly not disappointed by this game even with high expectations.

@Haedy: When you download this game and extract it, you will notice a single file with a .iso extension (sometimes you may get .bin/.cue or .mdf/.mds as well but they all get handled the same way). Word of advice to the uploader, do not upload multiple RAR files, while they are nice and dandy for FTP it is useless for torrent.
What basically happens is that nobody wants to seed them in the end, they need the .iso and not a bunch of RAR files, why waste the extra harddrive space on useless files?
In my case, the RAR files goes, and the ISO stays, meaning no seeding for this torrent.

alright i found the workaround for the crash issue addressed in my last post. if you have this same problem, what you need to do is stay as far to the south of the map as you can and head towards the airport staying on the edge of the map the whole time.
so just save the game after leaving the compound (after the 'go to airport' objective shows in case it crashes,) turn immediately left and head south and stick to the edge and you should be crash free :]

The game itself is okay. Not great, but not as horrendously bad as some critics have made it out to be. I call bullcrap if you live in U.S.A. Most where i live only give 16mbs or lower and that just pisses me off. Please seed if you can i want to try this one, the first one was my favorite but the PC controls are a Fing nightmare.

EXCEPTIALY FOR NOOBS!!!!
If there is a file, witch can be mounted by using "Deamons Tool", or analogue softwere (The program witch makes "Virtual CD or DVD OR Bluerays Discs, MOUNT THAT FILE!!!!
If there is no such a file, but there is plenty of other files, with the same name, AND, WITH A NUMBERS IN SEQUENCE (like here) Then use the arhivator program (such like WinRar, WinZip or 7z) to "Extract" all those files, by extracting the main file (or all file by marking them all, and with a "RMB" on any of them, to "extract" the disc file, that need to been "mounted"
SO:
1) Extract "rld-tgf2.rar" (where is no numbers)
2) Mount the extracted Disc
3) Run the autorun and install the game
4.1) Copy the Crack (all files from "crack" or "what ever is the name of the folder" directory.
4.2) Paste them into the The directory where did you installed the game (be shure, that there is these files, if there is no, then search into the subfolders for them AND THEN PASTE THEM)
5) Run the game
(I didn't downloaded the game, but I am doing it at the moment! So simply experiment my friend - if you are a newbye for all this.)

:D For example in Latvia, most of Companies gives 100mb/s (in Capital (Riga), in some places near "Lattelecom" you can get even 200mb/s and more (but thats is not cheap... (but for 40$ per mounth you can get tellevission and the internet with the speed of 100mb/s) :D
It's not the secret that in USA internet is a slime, like in Latvian contry side, for example my self, cause I am living to far from city, so we have an "air" internet (similar to analogue tellevission) so the speed is little one, only 7mb/s. :D While in university where I am studiing it is 100mb/s. :D:D:D

If someone encounters the big lagging for this game - I would recommend to play it on INTEL HD graphics....
I was surprised as well - but this game runs better on Intel HD rather then on my "NViDiA GE-FORCE GT620M"........... (shitty graphic card is useful for this game)

I won't address each one individually, since I already feel ~25 IQ points dumber having read them. So I'll only argue against your claim that the US doesn't have any internet speeds @100Mbps. Charter offers a 100Mb package in my hometown. It costs $300 p/month, but it certainly exists. So please do the entire community a favor and shut your ignorant pie hole.

since most of u seem to have a problem with installing the game i think i can spare 2 minutes to give this info out... firstly, the correct RAR file is the 6GB one since all the others only are 250MB also i dont think u can extract any other rar file, ( requires password ) it dosnt really have a password.... once u extract the ISO file, MOUNT or BURN , in the crack folder one of the two of them is a key generator for the game, run and generate a code for the game, run the Setup enter the license key and install ! PLAY THE GAME :D hope this is of any help....
