Born in Athens. Graduated from the National Conservatoire and singing professionaly since her 16th birthday. In 1980 she won the 3rd award at Saloniki music festival. In 1981 she won the first award at the same festival. Since 1982 she recorded over than 20 albums, 9 gold ones and 3 platinums. She had a lot of nominations and also many colaborations with international artists (Neville Brothers, Salif Keita, Alpha Blondy, Christians, Gipsy Kings, Sourakata, Linton Kwesi Johnson).
