(PSX-PSP) Chrono Cross converted properly by KloWn

The story begins with the hero, Serge, who is thrust into a parallel world where he died under mysterious circumstances over a decade ago. He teams up with a rowdy adventurer, Kid, and sets out in search of the mysterious Frozen Flame, an artifact that lets the holder reshape time and space on a whim. The enigmatic Lynx, a regal man-cat who hunts the Frozen Flame for his own purposes, opposes them. In his quest to return home, Serge will accrue both allies and foes, and he'll find himself thrust into an adventure that reveals his heritage, purpose, and ultimate destiny. Only by crossing between the two dimensions can Serge find the answers to his questions. I have also included the latest popsplugin and ALL sony prx which are required to play psx-psp conversions on custom firmware's... To install the pops simply copy the seplugins folder to the root of your memory stick, turn off your psp, hold down the right trigger button while turning the psp back on to go into recovery mode..Select the plugins option and enable the pops...Everytime you start a new psx game it will ask you which pops you wish to use I recommend using 3.40 pops as I have personally have had no problems with ANY psx game so far.....Drag and drop the folder of the game you wish to play to the PSP-->GAME folder on your memory stick and away you go..ENJOY and don't forget to say thanx..... Once again I have changed the Game Save ID's so there is no problems when you switch discs.....KloWn

awesome upload (as well as all your others)
though i am having trouble with it freezing at the first boss. i don't know a whole lot about running ps1 games on psp and all so i'm not sure how to go about fixing it.
i know a bit about psp hacking in general and know my way around a computer, but i'm noob when it comes to this, so some help would be appreciated. thx

hey there Klown ive been downloading all ur stuff and ive had only minor issues( because im a noob) and its all awesome work keep it up. However for this particular PSX the preferred pops to run it on happens to be 5.00. Otherwise theres some issues with freezing that i see people have been having troubles with. The popsplugin u have for download only includes up to 3.72 and i just thought id suggest the 5.00 pops to be added in to if at all possible. Any how thanx again all ur stuff is great.

Lol im such a noob, dark alex hasent released 5.00 pops sry bout that. hes only released it up to 4.01 which still wont fix the prob. guess ill try upgrading to 5.00 firmware thats suppose to work. Cant thank you enough for your hard work keep on keepin on.

Took some doin but i finally got this to work and got past the first boss without it freezin. So if anyone out theres still haveing problems heres one way to do it. Change the game ID to SCUS94640 and update to 5.00 m33-3 CFW and it should run on that. Other ways to do it if u want but i dont know how.

Never mind, done it (psgui) but no matter what I tried I couldn't get the savedgames to work. Now I suppose I'll have to play through again to the Mama Komodo battle and see if it freezes again...
It's almost enough to make me wish my PSX hadn't died on me a few years ago.
Not very straightforward, this whole PSX->PSP thing, is it! Oh well :D

i downloaded your legend of dragoon and it freezes after lenus and regole in disc 2...i was on 3.71 and it didnt work so i upgraded to 5.00 m33-4 and it still didnt work and now ppl say i need to install 3.40 pops...if thats tru...how do i install it

i got 3.40 pops to work however i can't find the pbp file even after putting it in the psp-->game folder like what you instructed

I had alot of trouble with freezing on the first boss, but after some searching i found if you set pops to 3.40 and change the game Id to SCUS-94640 (aka Syphon Filter 3) it should run no problems!

Solved: To initially create a 'Save game' file for the game, I have to be in the world map (step out of Arni Village - all the way to the right of the village).
I kept wondering why the option 'Save' option was greyed out.
Ugh, I still can't figure out why save games can't just happen on the spot.

To the people who are asking about the discs; I'm still downloading this, but have you tried pressing the Home (PS) button on your PSP and changing it from there?
Home/PS button > Change Discs.
I'll see for myself if I guessed right once the download is done--till then, just try that.
