once you have installed zone alarm and used the keygen all does work as you say.
After switching pc off tho then turning back on it says u have 14 days remaining of trial version, do u have to keep using new keys every 14 days?

achaios69 (2008-10-27)

It works only for Versio 7.xxx

achaios69 (2008-10-27)

Hi all, I should of told you this earlier but I didn't find out until now, this is only necessary if you're using the latest version of ZoneAlarm. What I need you to do is change the attributes of 'zllictbl.dat' to read-only, by doing this ZoneAlarm won't reset back to the trial version and you'll be secured for ever!
Firstly, you need to make sure that you can view hidden files and folders which is accomplished by, opening up 'my computer', then at the top select the 'tools' drop down menu and then select 'folder options'. Once 'Folder Options' is opened, go on over to the 'view tab' and check 'Show hidden files and folders' lastly click 'apply' and then 'OK'.
Secondly, to change the attributes of zllictbl.dat, go to your system32 folder, usually here 'C:\WINDOWS\system32' then look for 'zllictbl.dat' and 'right-click' it and select 'properties' when the properties dialog is open in the general tab look for the 'attributes' section usually at the bottom of the dialog, and then check 'read-only', then select 'apply' and 'OK' . You're done, simply restart your computer and enjoy using the generated keys! Thanks

toony63 (2008-11-07)

DOUBLE0SNEAKS tried what you said got all the way to second stage on attributes section checked read-only but when i clicked on apply got small box appear saying ERROR APPLYING ATTRIBUTES , ACCESS DENIED , with IGNORE , IGNORE ALL , RETRY , and CANCEL clicked on retry but it still won,t do it? .

toony63 (2008-11-07)

any ideas please.

 Double0Sneaks (2008-11-07)

Hi Toony63, you need to reboot in safe mode and then apply the attributes I forgot to type that in sorry. To do this;
Windows XP is the only operating system installed on your computer, booting into Safe Mode with these instructions.
If the computer is running, shut down Windows, and then turn off the power
Wait 30 seconds, and then turn the computer on.
Start tapping the F8 key. The Windows Advanced Options Menu appears. If you begin tapping the F8 key too soon, some computers display a "keyboard error" message. To resolve this, restart the computer and try again.
Ensure that the Safe mode option is selected.
Press Enter. The computer then begins to start in Safe mode.

Just in case your using windows vista, follow these instructions instead;
Turn the computer on or Restart the computer
Start tapping the F8 key. The Windows Advanced Boot Options Menu appears. If you begin tapping the F8 key too soon, some computers display a "keyboard error" message. To resolve this, restart the computer and try again.
Ensure that the Safe mode option is selected (the top option)
Press Enter. The computer then begins to start in Safe mode.
When you have finished applying the attributes restart computer as normal.

ZooGrA (2008-11-12)

works like a champ, thank you! ill seed for a lil :)

Boobik (2008-11-13)

hey,
in vista there is no such file as 'zllictbl.dat'
any ideas?

 Double0Sneaks (2008-11-15)

Hi Boobik, i'm not familiar with having zonealarm installed on a Vista machine. The only thing I can recommend is, make sure you have 'show hidden files and folders' selected, if your unsure on how to do this read my previous message. Lastly, if this doesn't make any difference I can't help and your only luck is to search google for a solution.

jiger (2008-11-18)

ZA Security Suite works in XP but there are a few functions on the main page that are dead with this dll-file in read only mode

kantagara (2008-12-21)

after installing Zone alarm use Keygen u provided and than restart PC in safe mode and than go to the following path
C:\ProgramData\CheckPoint\ZoneAlarm\Zllictbl.dat

And Make Sure "Zllictbl.dat" Is Read Only.
and restart the system in Normal mode than there should be no problem

SuperMarioLecter (2009-01-14)

Tested fully working on Zonealarm Pro.
Scanned virus-fre with Avira Antivir

halfbloodazzn (2009-02-19)

hey double0sneaks,
ive done everything here but it doesnt work completely! i use vista and i have rebooted in safe mode and made the dat file read only (as well as its previous hidden state). I restarted normally and then put in the key gen code.. It says the license key is not valid but when I click ok it freezes for a sec then states responding again. I check how many days it expires an it is 65535 aswell but the next time i turn my computer on it has reset itself, e.g. was 13days left then 65535 with new key and then back to 12 days! What's happeninggggg

samjoew (2009-03-15)

thank you so much Double0Sneaks...the key i used for zonealarm pro worked fine and changing Zllictbl.dat to read only in safe mode worked fine too so now i have >65000 days of zonealarm pro!!
perfect, thanks again

gimppuppy (2009-03-27)

FOR VISTA:
install > use key > show hidden files/folders > reboot into SAFE MODE > find file called "zllictbl.dat"
C:\ProgramData\CheckPoint\ZoneAlarm
[most likely first one.]
once found right click > properties > READ ONLY
reboot and your good to go

explicit9375 (2009-06-02)

Works good, thanks! :)

ttroyboy (2009-06-04)

hey bouble . i like zone alams been using it for years..
but i installed this prog and it keepsmaking me install key every day.key gen works good too tu.
im looking to follow your advice and change 'zllictbl.dat' but i cant find it.. i looked in system32 .. ill look again but i dont see it //// help

manjeri (2009-06-21)

hey does this work for the latest version of Zone Alarm Extreme security? please tell me ASAP

AlbertKada (2009-07-12)

Fix for repeated "Your subscription has expired" message. Once the expiration time is set to 65535 Days and the file zlllictbl.dat is set to Read-Only .... I went into the Registry and searched for the ZoneAlarm entries. There was one in my Registry called ProductStatus that was set to "8". I set it to "0" and it got rid of the annoying messages.
Someone might verify to see if it was my imagination (or not)...but it worked for me.
