for subtitles rename the movie to "my.sassy.girl.avi" and the .str file to "my.sassy.girl.sub" and open the avi file with VLC media player

btw this is the best 700 mb rip of a movie above 2 hours (2h17m) that I've ever seen. the video bitrate is very low, only 576 kbit but no pixeling at all, exceptional quality for this size - looked awesome on my 32'' LCD!

I'll second Jehury's comments - please do not rename any torrent files!
Either rename a COPY of the srt file, or in VLC just click Video>Subtitles>Open File.
