To those that say anything about the sound, I watched the movie and the sound is no "tin" or anything bada, its totaly good quality.

Quite bad acting and you only need to see about 20 min into the movie befor you know what will hapen since its EXACTLY the same stuff coming again as in day after tomorrow and independens day the only difrence really is that in this movie the persident is played by a black man. I put this on a pin drive and watched it on my tv through my 360. The quality was great all around.
I do have two complaints though. The title cards saying places, and such were in Russian, and there were no subtitles for when they were speaking in other languages. So there's about thirty minutes of the movie that I don't know what they said.
Is there any way to get subtitles over those parts?

I saw this in the cinema (for once) and i loved it.
I usually don't like the big Hollywood special effects orgies, but this one really works. Not because of the story or the acting but because it never gives you time to think about whats happening, it just pounds you with action over and over.
Plus Woody Harrelson does a great job.
I'll give it a big 7 for being entertaining at least.

This is an R5. I dont know exactly what it is, but its like a print released for theatrical distribution in the region 5 described by MPAA, i.e middle to southeast asia.
It has excellent quality but has no audio(mostly the dialouges), to enable dubbing in different language. So audio is taken from a dvdscreener(the print shown to critics) and synced with the R5. The dvdscreener itself does not have that good quality audio, and also produces problems with synching. The result you get is mostly like this movie.
Audio a little out of synch by the middle to end, a little means a little, and except for the most demanding assholes, its fine. I didnt even notice it, until i read about it in another comment.
Video is 100% great, as expected.No problems.
Some may say waiting for another rip with synced audio, but why wait so long for such a terrible movie.
This movie is just a onetime watch. Marvel at the special effects and laugh at the presentation.

Just to be clear to the people that don't know, a R5 is a Region 5 DVD rip, Region 5 is Russia. So R5's are a DVD rip with Russian audio, There for, audio is pulled from some where, usually theaters with those audio jacks. But the quality of the audio could be bad. That's why R5 should be labeled as a R5 not a DVDRip, DVDRip is DVD quality video and DVD quality audio.

I've only spot checked this, but those who are saying the sound quality is terrible are just trying to turn away downloaders. On the quiet parts, the audio is clear, with pages of paper flipping soundly acoustically, pardon the pun. Crickets chirping in the background are clear as well. On the noisy parts, I cannot detect distortion, though my PC speakers have a slight crackle. There is no "tin can effect" whatsoever.

Excellent video quality, although the audio is pretty poor. The one problem is that all the text is in Russian, and there are no translation subtitles. There were several scenes spoken in other languages that you might not understand. If you search "2012 movie script" you can just read the script to figure out what's going on during those parts. :]

Please dont mock the Audio Video grading scale guys. This rip is not good. The Video is decent, not great, but decent. The Audio is HORRIBLE, sounds like a cam version.

Very good video quality. Good Audio. There are parts where they r speaking in different languages but I don't think it it that important. The subtitles are in russian but the film itself is great, there isn't much of a story but that is how i like it. Looks of great action and suspense. Great Download

No subs, foreign scenes worthless without them. You could have mentioned the title cards were in Cyrillic. Makes the movie somewhat hard to follow.
