Category:

Description:
Norton INternet Security 16.5.0.135 with Trial Reset 2.2A
This also includes Norton Removal Tool to uninstall already installed version of Norton (if it has expired) which is required to make this patch work..
Also included is Norton AddOn pack for Parental Control and Privacy Control...
Instructions for Installation:
1) Uninstall any previous norton reset tool and remove the tool from your system including recycle bin, just keep the Norton Reset v2.2A provided in this pack.
2) Remove any previous version of NIS using Norton removal tool included in the pack.
3) Again install Norton INternet Security 16.5.0.135 provided in this torrent.
4) INstall NIS... ON installation it will say subscription has finished...
5) Dont worry and reboot the windows in Safe Mode(through key F8)
6) In safe mode install the Trial Reset ver 2.2A and reboot normally.
7) When u'll boot normally into windows, NIS would be red bt after few seconds it will turn green and will work normally afterwards...
This solution is working 100%...
Delete all traces of Reset Tools from your computer... even the reset tool ver2.2A provided in this should be in zip format....
So delete the trail reset tool after applying and keep the zip file..
Add the path of the ver2.2A in the exclusion list of Norton...
If norton detects any kind of reset tools in your system, it will blacklist the Installed one...

Thanks for the new crack. Bad news...the crack fail to work after the next day.niccodemus (2009-03-29)
Jupps din´t work the day after.. had to subscribe....egress63 (2009-03-29)
This works for me! :) The previous version of NIS 2009 trial reset stopped working. So I dloaded this one, removed all the bogus registry values and installed this as per instructions. Works perfectly!Ahhh... Atleast, there will be no tensions for the next 90 days!
kanyikan (2009-03-30)
mine is expired already :(msbisht (2009-03-30)
People it works fine....Follow the instrucions carefully...
After applying trial reset delete it from your computer or store it smwhere else or encrypt it and add to Norton'S Scan Exclusion list...
kanyikan (2009-03-31)
update:I deleted the trial reset after installing. It has been working for almost 24 hrs.
nueron (2009-03-31)
@mustang, niccodemus..Thanks for your feedback, did you guys make sure about the deletion/encryption/exclusion scan list??
@kanyikan
Good to hear a positive feedback, hope the loop of resetting works well as long as you want it. Please comment again after a couple of days...
Currently am using Kaspersky, the trial reset works great, recent update of this AV deletes the reset file but doesnt impairs the software, the reason for switching is latest version of KIS8.0.0.506 doesnt go well with PowerISO 4.3 (prob: right click takes lot of time to popup & Mounting ISO images on virtual drive via toolbar takes very long time or doesnt work) Nero with cloneDvD goes well with KIS.
The previous version of Norton didnt show satisfactory results after virus def updates, as often I could notice "skipped file". Besides it was painfully slowing down system performance, hope the latest one stands by what it claims.
@msbisht
Thanks, long live tpb

6. turned on computer today and my subscription had expeired.
7. Redownloaded the trial reset, reboted to safe mode applied it, it was sucsessfull. ( also deleted it and removed it from bin)
8. but after reboting my subscription was still expeired
9. ask smart people for help :) any advice?
egress63 (2009-03-31)
Ok. I rebooted my comp today (first time after Sunday) and when it starts up, Norton comes out to be expired. :(egress63 (2009-03-31)
Just a follow up to the previous comment. I have redone the entire procedure, archived the reset file (password protected). It is showing 90 days subscription just like as it should. However, should this fail - I will be forced to look for other antivirus suites. :(GGLoader (2009-03-31)
Ive done clean installs several times egress63 and it is allways fucked up when i rebot againkanyikan (2009-03-31)
follow up:It didn't make it to the 2nd day :( Mine has expired again. Suggestion needed.

Hi Guys!!!Bad News!! Trail reset 2.5A also got blacklisted in many cases during beta testing :( :(
but new trial reset 2.6A is on its way :D :D
meanwhile my NIS is working perfect, though its days are counting down from 90 bt its a long time...
here is what i did...
1) Fresh install of windows... for those who dont want ot install windows, delete NIS from NOrton Removal tool...
2) Then use any registry editor and search fot NOrton and then Symantec keys and delete evrything found (always backup the registry before playing with it!!!)
use the Registry 1st Aid (The BEST registry cleaner and editor) below or any1 u like :
http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/4782518/Registry_First_Aid_Platinum_v7.0.0.1648_%28mAnaV%29
3)After cleaning your registry Search for norton on your 'C:' drive with search for hidden folders ON and delete any folder or file found..
4) Restart and install NIS.. if its fine then update the norton till no more updates are available and after that apply the trail reset 2.2A and delete the reset tool after applying and also a hidden file in the below mentioned folder
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data
there will be 3 folders related to norton namely NORTON,NORTONINSTALLER and SYMANTEC, in any 1 of these there will be trial reset tool (i dont remember in which folder it was as I have delted it maself) which will be hidden, delete it.
5) Restart computer and it should work as mine is working also.
6) In step 4 if norton was already blacklisted after installing NIS again then reboot in safe mode and install Trail reset patch and delte it after applying and also a hidden file in the folder mentioned above.
7) Restart normally and it should work..
If notihng works then u'll have to reinstall windows and go through all the steps mentioned..
or Simply Switch to any other security Suite (like Kaspersky or BitDefender) and be safe.. remember its 1st April and a new variant of CONFLICKER will be activated today.. So be safe..
ThnXX...

Kansa (2009-04-05)
Work and tested on 2 machine and I accelerated my date to test it more and it still reseted. If you dont go the safe mode way which I didnt you must turn off tamper protection before applying the patch then reset your computer then update then finally re-enable the tamper protection and you are set =) This is after you install Norton.
Well thank to the uploader my old one wasnt reseting lol then I decided to remove the reset and I reseted the computer... Norton got expire even though I had around 60 days left lol...
PS I use the same method Robinhood torrent instruction shows. Also I just register just to say this lol...
