you first need to download winrar, it's free. Then you select all of the winrar files in the torrent and click right mousebutton and extract too. then you pick a place where you want too save the image. after that you can mount the image with daemon tools or another program wich you prefer. and install the game and you are ready to play the game.

Poor Crytek. I do feel a little bit sorry for them, i mean every PC gamer is bitching at them saying they sold out moving to consoles etc, but the fact is they had to to stay alive. Let me put it this way, every business wants there clientele to be happy but they also need to make a profit for the business to be viable so they are not deliberately trying to alienate PC gamers, they are aware the company cant be sustained on PC sales alone and thus changing with the times.
No im not an angel, i pirated Crysis Warhead and many other titles, but if we really do want the PC as a platform to survive we must atleast buy a couple of games each a year and maybe it can hold on and we will continue to have something to play on our nice custom built gaming rigs :)

Well, I need to update on my fully purchased copy of Crysis 2 from yesterday! I must say I was very excited to finally install it and start playing. It looked great, well some parts of it anyway. Then I noticed the ground, trees, cars, and water looking like crap!! I looked at my OSD and it said DX9! Yes, this brand new game after years of development is rendered in DX9, and not DX11, or even DX10 like the last game!! WTF!! The tree's, ground, walls etc no longer have any depth like the first Crysis. It looks like a PS3, or Xbox game for petes sake!! I’m very disappointed to say the least, and I’m not feeling real good abou the $64.00 I spent for the game. I like supporting the dev's that make great looking games, but this is severely disappointing to say the least!
How could Crytek take steps backwards in rendering technology after years of development??? What a joke! Yes, the game looks great for DX9, but it looks NOTHING like the first game in terms of quality rendering. Even the water does not look at good. I will be taking this game back to where I bought it and getting my money back. I have already uninstalled it as well! I know console players generally don’t care about the detail that DX10 and DX11 provide (or they would be playing on PC's), but us PC gamers spend a lot of money on the latest hardware/graphic cards to make use of the features we paid for, and for the "almighty Crysis" to be launched in such old technology (DX9) is just pathetic! Hell, you can’t even change the graphic settings in detail. Just low, med, and high settings basically. Crysis is now a confirmed console game, and the pc side of it is dead. RIP Crysis!!! Geforce be quiet man, Crysis 2 will have DX11 of course, and for anyone saying it it's not a "console port" too many people say that when they don't even know what they're talking about, EA are working hard to make sure PC games are 100% native and better than console versions e.g. BF3. After you download the file, just extract the folder thats inside all the rars. Thats the game, there is no need to install anything any further. Just wait for the crack and replace the .exe that is in the Bin32 folder.

I think I figured out how to install it... accidently uninstalled it while messing around so I have to re-extract everything (apparently the uninstaller will delete everything in the folders [which happens to be where I extracted the first RAR]) so once it finishes I'll try it and see what happens.
FYI: This process involves another file released by the same group (ALI123)

2) Crack will be Out "24th" -> Assumption unconfirmed ->FAKE
3) Crack will be out after the UE Release -> Assumption, Unconfirmed -> FAKE

To all who might actually buy the game, don't bother! Its rendered in the 6 year old DX9 tech! Graphics are horrible compared to Crysis 1, no detail, or depth on any of the surfaces, No dev console, and no destructible environments either! Want to try our this game on your shiny new DX11 ATI, or Nvidia Card, it will play it just fine in max detail, because there is nothing in the code to utilize any of the new advanced features your expensive card offers! Overall looks like a Xbox game, because that's what it is. I spent $59.99 on this game, and I am VERY sorry that I did. Ok. I didn't bother installing this clone dvd because I was waiting for proper crack.
When I unrar this, I get crysis2_ALI213.NET.zip and some other exe files.
I was expecting iso file but this is not the case.
I just unzipped that main file and now there are bunch of folers created.... it basically unpacked bunch of stuff.

from there I went to _installer folder > disk1 and clicked easetup.exe.
I thought it was performing installation but it took really short time... less than 5 min. I went to go see if there were any crysis2.exe to be found in the installation folder but there are only handful of stuff in there. (there are no game exe files)

Very strange. I played the leaked beta and it worked fine for me, but this one refuses to run.
I did pretty much what Cyber15 wrote, and the exe runs for a few seconds and then just stops.
The game log doesn't show any error that I can see, either.

John Depp - I unzipped it to a temp directory and that's where i'm playing it from. The FLT crack worked fine, on this CloneDVD release. When the game starts up in the Main menu where it asks for nickname/password for crysis just hit the skip option. And you can start campaign mode.
This is only the 32 bit version of the game If there's a 64 bit version i have no clue.

Thanks for your answer. I ended up getting iso verson from AiTB and got it working. Amazing speed for that one too.
I still have a qustion though. When I tried to run Crysis2Launcher.exe, it initiated update v1.1 process. It didn't go through due to some error. (I used launcher only because I thought gfx settings were configured there)
So I'm just playing using Crysis2.exe right now. It works great. Was I supposed to apply v1.1 update and use this crack? If so, what did I do wrong?

One thing that I really hated about Crysis 2 was that usb headsets didn't work. Since the patch "fixed" it I downloaded it but it's just worse, the game won't run at all. I saw in a log or something that the game will now see your headset with the patch, but it just fails seeing more than one sound card

@ SR666 I have downloaded the program but it doesn't work since well the program did not find autoexe.cgf! I didn't find it to delete it. Also my root file is not in program files its in downloads!!!! the crytek folder in EA folder in Program files is empty only has help. I play the game from downloads.
So IDK if I need to uninstall it!

Looks fine in DX9, I used the FLT crack works fine just put in in the bin32 folder.
Search google for crysis 2 tweaks, and you'll find a load of useful commands to put at the end of the system.txt file in the crysis 2 folder- you can disable intro movies, disable mouse accel and smoothing, turn crouch toggle off, turn motion blur etc off, change all the graphics settings, disable the online login screen (where you have to press skip every time you start the game)
I didn't like the game at first, mainly because you couldn't shoot trees down it sort of made me feel like it was slightly cheap but it's grown on me a lot. I will be buying it for the online mode it's a keeper :)

studentagain - If you have this release unzip then unrar into whatever directory, I picked C:\Games\Crysis 2. Don't use the crack yet. Download the Crysis_2_final_1.1g2_Patch from Filefront. There are some 1.1 patches in piratebay but the actual update part of them is infected with something that erases your Operating System.
But the actual 1.01 crack works. so after you've updated the game to 1.1 overwrite crysis.exe in the bin32 folder with the 1.1 crack version.
I forgot that i had used the 1.0 crack so the updater kept saying it couldn't find Crysis 2. So i had to extract the files again and left the original *.exe in there and the update found it.
I have seen the console come up but none of the codes out there on the internet seems to work. I don't have the graphics to mess with any graphical settings using the console.

I found out this game forces you into updates so delete all of the contents of C:/Program Files (x86)/Electronic Arts/Crytek/Crysis 2/bin32/EAcore. After you do this there no longer will be any more forced update. When you start the game it takes a bit longer, but it still loads! Just leave the EAcore folder there empty!

Today april 6th, 2011 crytek patched there servers to not allow fake keys that were used before to play multiplayer. There is no work around at the moment so if you want to play multiplayer you need to use beta/leaked versions.
