1920 is the limitation horizontally, and tho it is not 1080 vertically because, i am assuming that the encoder did not want to distort the proper film ratio.
my guess in the film has a much wider ratio, as it was made for film, not a 16:9 TV. it is probably 2.35:1
i am too lazy to do the math.
