In case this game does not run under Vista, here is a fix.
Here is original Options.ini entries for Generals:

This is default setup.ini for C&C Generals, so you can adjust your own settings later in options menu.
Or edit it directly in ini file...
P.S.: If you own ATI card set AntiAliasing = 6 (maximum)
If you own NVIDIA card set AntiAliasing = 4 (maximum)"
Also, I suggest to have a look at the COLD WAR CRISIS mod for this game.

Whenever I run the program the Generals Zero Hour DF screen comes up for about 30 sec or so then disappears and nothing happens. Please help.
