aensland (2010-10-06)

Why is it on nearly every torrent I check there are always "zomg virus" comments? Wtf are you guys using, Norton?!
Anyway, this checks out clean. Uploader also has a whole string of apps to his name so I'm inclined to trust him over some random commenter.
For the clueless, to patch something means it's shouldn't be running or else windows won't let you patch it (common sense...). So: 1) Install, but don't run it. 2) Copy the crack to the installed folder. 3) Run crack, click Yes, wait for it to say done, then click No or just close it. 4) Delete crack. 5) You're good to go. Run the program, it shouldn't show the evaluation message anymore.

aensland (2010-10-06)

Btw, if you're doing this thing in somewhere not private, make sure your speaker volume is turned low or you've got headphones plugged in. The freaking crack patcher runs with this funky scene tune in the background - surprised the bejeezus outta me since I was at the office lol. Fortunately everybody else thought it was just some wanky cellphone ring tone before I managed to hit mute.

Alificus (2010-10-15)

@aensland - Next time look at all the info people have posted. mkRoland posted a link to a VirusTotal report that shows 26 of 40 antivirus programs reporting the virus. 26! Do you need all 40 to say it before you pull your head out of the sand? It has a virus. Plain and simple.
Here's the updated report:
http://www.virustotal.com/file-scan/report.html?id=78b7b21f44c068c202f51ccb6a413b5d2c6501a25432a5134fb2ed3ce0ebd428-1286901941

That's with definitions as of Oct 12. And yes, looks like Norton would report it too. ;) There are some very highly reputable AVs in there.
