I studied one on one under Tom Columbo (Aikido) and Henry Nunez (Atemi Ryu Jui Juitsu) in Miami back in 1992 for about 5 months. I was the tallest guy in the group classes so Henry made me the "fall guy". I dislocated both shoulders, broke both little toes doing tenkans, sprained wrists, broke fingers, got choked out by Henry, got knocked out by Tom, who used a simple trigger on my neck. He is the ONLY guy able to demonstrate a legitimate "unbendable" arm technique to me! I have viewed a great deal of footage of teachers including O' Sensei and I've noticed a lot of "cooperation" during the demonstrations.
Then again, a 5' girl easily "manhandled" me at an Aikido seminar!
