More simply, a dvd ripping program that removes copy protection from most video dvds, and saves the movie files to your hard drive.
I do not think I can put it more simply.
And it is certainly virus free, I would never distribute viruses and do not understand the purpose for their existence or creation.

I tried to download using limewire and now it says i cant use because of security reasons. : / sorry im new here. any help appreciated bro

Hm. I am kinda unfamiliar with limewire. All I can say is just download utorrent or bittorrent or another torrent program and try it with those. I really do not know about the compatibility of the torrent protocol and the java based gnutella protocol that limewire uses.
