I keep on loading this dmg file to toast titanium, but then it still says i need to load the disk. WTF?? Why won't this work? this exact same process worked flawlessly for reason 4.0.0

figured it out. had to mount the reason 4.0 dmg file not the reason 4.0.1 dmg file

im new to this so bare with me,
I managed to download and use the 4.0 but would like the 4.01 I downloaded it and it is just a DMG file, I have toast and tried to mount it but it wont let me at all it actually comes out as an audio cd.
I selected the reason 4.01 to mount but nothing???
Not sure what else to do?

Hi im new to mac so i need help with this pleease. i download the application and when i double click it it says -It was dowloaded from the Internet and will be opened by Console..-Is console not the right thing for opening it or something because it opens as loads of binary code jibberish. How can I open it properly?? it also is dowloading in a matter of seconds which is strange.Someone please help!

FOR THOSE OF YOU WITH CD PROBLEMS:
You can do a number of things, but you will need a DVD-R(W)
Using Toast 7+
1. Open Toast
2. Drag "Reason 4.dmg" anywhere in the window
3. Press the big blue "burn" button
4. Insert Blank DVD
5. Follow onscreen instructions to start the burn
6. Mount after the burn is complete
Burning w/o Toast
1. Go to Applications/Utitlites, Open "Disk Utility"
2. Drag "Reason 4.dmg" into the left nav area, where you see "Macintosh HD"
3. Click "Burn" on the toolbar
4. Follow onscreen instructions (insert bank dvd)
5. Mount after Burning.

This worked perfectly for me. THANKS, hopefully I can set up my keyboard now. Here's what I did:
1.I alreasy had reason 4.0 installed (not sure if it made a difference)
2. mount 4.0 dmg in toast
3. double click the 4.0.1 dmg
And then it installed for a while and it works fine.

for anybody still having problems when it asks you for the reason disc, simply right click the reason disc icon and select 'mount disc' and presto! very simple.

i'm trying to install this onto a mac. every time i try it tells me the Orkester Sound Bank can't be copied and aborts the installation. it says either the Orkester.rfl file is locked or the reason application is locked. if anyone knows what to do PLEASE HELP!!!
