This is an arch package for the default arch linux kernel26 2.4.24.3-3 recompiled with the included patch by Mike Isely to eliminate a bug in the drm sources that causes a flat out kernel crash in intel 915 graphics chipsets when running vsynced opengl applications. This chipset is used for the ASUS eee, so anyone with this device running arch linux would be advised to recompile the kernel with the included patch or install the included package for the time that this kernel is up to date.

it seems the next arch kernel will include this patch - double check when its released, but testing currently has the patch - I've also been notified by the patch creator that 2.6.25 will have this patch added to vanillabtw, I noticed an error in the description, its kernel 2.6.24.3-3, not 2.4.. :)
