Dism has been used to integrate updates and removing useless packages like "The upgrading version option" (the annoying entry in the control panel that bothers you to update to the ultimate version), Country packages and others... You will have two installation choices: 1- "Windows 7 ROG 64-Bit" with full multimedia supports, (Suggested for every day use) 2-"Windows 7 ROG (N) 64-Bit" with No multimedia. (no Mediacenter, no MediaPlayer, No IE8, no DVD maker.) Keep in mind that the rating system will not be working in this version. This because the "N" has no multimedia support. To have it working you have to install the mediapack from Microsoft. This will reinstall all the packages above and fix the rating issue. (If you ask me, that is a bug that Microsoft should be fix.) tried on 2010 apple MBP. i was not able to install any games. run the non-multimedia version.

I'm having an issue w/ .net 3.5. it doesn't actually seem to be in this release and the installer package for vista won't let you install it on win 7.
also, on a fresh install, if i turn the .net 3.5 on in the stupid 'turn windows features on and off' dialog, it doesn't turn .net 3.5 on and when it reboots, the 'turn windows features on and off dialog' is permanently blank, even after following all suggestions to restore it.
other than this snafu, this is an awesome release, but not having .net 3.5 prevents me from using solidworks or inventor, which is a pretty big deal breaker. so, any help getting this working would be great. Ive been trying for a few weeks to resolve this issue and haven't had any luck.
