Can anyone help me out.....downloaded and the movie plays fine but I cant figure out how to show the subtitles

you need to have the movie file and the sub file in the same folder. make sure its the same filename as well.

So should i seperate the movie file and sub file from the .idx file or leave all three in the same folder? My subs are still not showing up even after renaming the movie to the same as the sub file

Theres also a help file but i cannot get it to open on my system even tried the patch thats supposed to fix it. So if that gives any instructions it would be very helpful thanks in advance.

OK, I'm using GOM player:
Make sure that both the .idx and .sub files are in the same directory as the movie. Also in ensure that "ALT-H" subtitles are turned on. And check Direct Vobsub is NOT disabled in the 'Filter' section.
You may have to add a VobSub filter in the Advance Settings in the Filter section.
Thanks to all those who ignored us. Otherwise I wouldn't have been motivated to solve this problem on my own!

Cheers mate,wicked film,pic and audio r both quality...For those peops havin probs,im usin VLC player and when u start film just drag and drop the idx file over onto the screen,works sweet...easy
