Its not a rar file, It's an ISO, so just burn it to disc using any image burner, or mount it with daemon tools and install.

or to anyone who is game enough, go to your local game store, open the cases for ffxiv and grab the buddy passes from the cases.
Most stores wont take them out, only the disk.
Also, for those of you who dont know, FFXIV buddy pass is a FULL VERSION ACCOUNT.

How do you install it? I've mounted the file with Daemon Tools and it does show up, but it says its uninstalling it, then when I try reopening it it says an XIV client is already running, so it closes, then when I do it AGAIN it uninstalls, and the process repeats.
Even if I uninstall, restart my computer and try anew it uninstalls again. How can I make it INstall?

I just installed mine off disk and it did the same thing to me (In the root folder if you run the ffxiv.exe or whatever it is, it tried to uninstall and it wasnt even installed, then said process was interrupted and it couldnt uninstall. Then I right clicked on the icon, went to compatibility tab and on the bottom clicked change settings for all users, and for some reason it was set to compatibility mode for vista SP1. My OS is win7 btw, so i set it to win7 and it WORKED).
@Everybody asking for a buddy pass... Go get a job and pay for it like everyone else. No, you can't play for free, servers cost money to maintain and the crew working on 2.o need to get paid and eat as well... Greedy stupid fuckers.
