PeaZip can be used from GUI and from scripts as well; the GUI supports different customisable icon themes. PeaZip is a standalone, almost self contained application: you can unpack a peazip_portable package (.tar.gz) in any path and just click on peazip binary; see FreeDesktop_integration folder in program's path to know how to integrate PeaZip with the desktop environment (Gnome, KDE...).
