This could have been a really nice rip, but the encoder did not use either a deinterlace or decomb filter and as a result there are interlace artifacts (horizontal lines). If you are going to use handbrake to rip I suggest leaving the decomb filter on always if you are unsure whether the source contains some interlaced content.
