I'm guessing I shouldn't have been attached to the web when I installed it and put the reg code in. Now even after uninstalling and ripping the entries out of the registry, still no dice. I even re-downloaded it, and an install splash screen says "installation is damaged".

You have to paste the whole thing (without the first and last line), not only one line! That worked for me! The password is OK!
