The Huspa Concept - The Virgin Future (EP) - 2007

This is the first album released by "The Huspa Concept", a premier Surf/Jazz/Experimental group out of Charleston, SC. From "The Huspa Concept's" website on Myspace. Allen Andrews the 2nd- Acoustic Drums The Huspa Concept started many years ago, when a group of friends in Beaufort county would meet in an old dairy barn located on Huspa Plantation [Sheldon, SC] to experiment and vent through music and sound. It was told to those who would enter through those doors ,"...that Huspa is a concept not a band", but through the passing of time the group of friends would form into a band, with a line up that has change through out the years. Past members: Brandon Mark Carpenter- guitar/synth/vocals back in the day/other Benjamin L Fowler- guitar/noise D. Hunter Marcy- drums/percussion/keyboards/moaning [from the Concepts birth until shorty after the recording of the Virgin Future] Will Pitt- guitar/screaming J. Jake Morris- guitar/bass/percussion/vocals Chris Deans- guitar/vocals and too many one night stands to remember at the moment. Now the Concept is located in Charleston, SC. With the release of their first Ep Virgin Future and self-produced full-length album Gross Domestic Product, Huspa has embarked on an odyssey of sound, encompassing jazz, post-rock, and experimental melodramatic song.
