I think the internet caffee trigger in the crack has not been fixed, therefore you cannot play the game because you get stuck in missions that require the pc from the internet caffee.

OK, I found a modded crack on how to get cafe's working with 2'nd patch.. Can't say where I found it exactly, but let's just say some demon's have gotten a hold of it
On their site the torrent is called "GTA IV CRACK only" and it's added on 28'th January, 2009
I just copied the files there over to my gtaiv directory (i had already patched my game to 1.0.2) and it worked instantly.. all savedgames also compatible, no issues so far

Hi actually I managed to fix my problem of yesterday, in fact I was not framework (: noob: xD)
As I have against another problem now when I start the game off line I have this ==>

@lamefatal run reg.exe couple of times and then try, if it wont work use manual registry, located in soft folder. Right Click > Edit
Paste your game location, "InstallFolder"="c:/Games"

My O/S is Vista SP1 fuly updated .
Error msg is that after initializing the game from the rockstar social club icon :
Two typing windiws starts normally from the game , then it hangs saying that no respong , the application hanged & nothing to be done rather than to close the application .
I've checked the direct x , found it latest .
I've checked the H/w from the llink you posted earlier in the old file , it says i can do extremely play the game .
What i've done even i got another crack valid for the same version , same issue .
Currently i've uninstalled the whole game & i made sure that nothing left in the registry or @ HD .
Note : I have a hotmail account + Rockstar account .

Game starts perfect and when i click start it starts loading for a few seconds and after that it shuts down and windows vista says gta doesn't work right.
Just bought new pc, so maybe I'm missing some files like framework. I have framework 3.5
I don't have internet on that pc.
Have latest drivers and directx.

I had NO problems with installation, started great, everything was perfect, but my graphics are set to the lowest possible and I can't even see two feet in front of me (draw distance set to 1) no WAY I can play like this, usually I would just think that my system was old but I just ran Fallout 3 at the highest possible graphics and it ran fine, that just makes me wonder why I can't even run GTA4 at a little higher of a setting... is this fixable? without upgrading the system of course.

Shroo, thanks for your help before got it working, looked pretty bad but playable, now I'm posting to say to anyone reading, be CAREFUL!!! don't install RockStar's official patch!!! I did it by accident and now the game is stuck on Vlad's mission "Clean Getaway" I've read around the web that its RockStars new way of battling torrenters...us, lol, Shroo, do you know of a way I can undo this? or another patch that works around it? thanks again for your help.

insteat of downloading 2gb of radiostation to get your custom musik to work in gta iv (4=) just download this and replace it with synergy's binaries.7z in the rockstargames folder. install normaly like the synergy install, or just extract and overwrite the files.

Ok everyone I really hope this helps at least one person. I kept getting an error when following the steps to launch the game. Installed fine, set up ran great(it does take time, be patient), everything up to running the game from rockstar's launcher. I googled for 20 minutes trying to find an answer.
If you are having an error message along the lines of:
"Application failed. Windows family settings may be blocking it." or something similar(don't have it on screen to type out word-for-word) then try the following:
Go to where you extracted the Rockstar Games Folder> Browse inside to Grand Theft Auto IV Folder> Then find a file called "LaunchGTAIV.exe" It will pop up a command prompt window, just let it run the game and keep the window open until you are finished. I hope this works for others as well.
And as always, thank you shroo for the upload :D

Make sure you download that when you have this installed and updated. There is a mission early on that is bugged, but downloading that fixed it for me. I have yet to have an issue other than that. You might also want to get the radio addon if you feel the need to listen to the radio.
Other than that, it's been great so far, so I'd say 100% it's working.

I'm having trouble with the Clean Getaway mission. Obviously like everyone else the gate won't open, and I know how to fix it. The crack which fixes it recommends that I have the 1.0.3 patch, the same patch that you have linked in your description.
Downloading and installing the patch gives me a fatal error when I try and play the game, saying that "an unknown resource has been found."

The drunken cam shouldn't be there. Make sure you are running the game from RGSC and that you have the Razor crack (which can be found here: ). If you still have no luck then update the game to v1.03 from this patch

Ok, I've spend hours trying to get this to work before I posted and now I'm out of ideas and stuck!
I'm having the same problem as some of the other guys on here, in that when the game starts there is no land and the car falls in the water.
I've updated to version 1.3 and my graphics cards to driver 182.50, messed about with the settings etc. and probably other stuff that I forget. but I keep getting the same.
Everything else works ok, I just don't know how to fix this!!!

Any one having trouble where they just fall into water and fail the mission, well. I don't have such a problem so it is hard for me to solve it. OK try this, re-install whole game. Do the manual registry technique, which can be found in the "soft" folder. Download the V1.0.3.0 update (from here
Install the update. Update all drivers, make sure you meet the system requirements. If you still have no luck clean up your registry and try again. P.S If you still have no luck then your computer can't run it or your computer has some issues.

Sorry for the delay replying, I've had trouble logging into my account. Anyway, I reinstalled and it worked fine (ish... seemed to crash every few minutes but the frame rate was ok 'till then). Then when I tried to apply the update it all went wrong and wouldn't work at all. I've since brought it, as I only wanted to know whether my system would run it and it did/does.
So to anybody that is having the same bother as me, just try reinstalling I suppose :)

-open the game, play it and if u get a drunken cam, turn it off
-RUN the game again, and it should work FINE!!

I have been running this on xp for the last three months everything running nicely patched to 1.3 (ooh it's a great game) thought i'd add some cars. loaded up crashed, didn't backup some of the files. anyway here is my problem,
when I do a complete re-install (grab the files of the dvd and stick them on desktop) the install seems to bypass the .arc files and take 5 mins the RG folder is around 300mb. strange. (install seems to work on vista)
anyone with any ideas
want this working on xp as it seems to run a little better.

but shadows and radio is not good
other than that no prob.great game great graphics
my cpu usage was 59 min and 66 max

HELLO GUYS!
I recently downloaded this game... it is working perfectly but i have a problem.
I am playing "Clean Getaway" where Niko has to bring a for Vlad. Niko goes through the train first time and he meets 2 guys and uses "stun punch" then he takes the car to Vlad's lockup ....
i have followed some walk-through in each of them its given Niko will get a phone call from Vlad and he will take the car to a car-wash and then to Vlad's lockup.
but after collecting this car and bringing towards Vlad's lockup i am not getting any phone call and after reaching Vlad's lockup the mission does not ends.
i have tried this part 9-10 times without killing, after killing those car owner, even i took the car to car wash but the mission does not end .... so I can not go to any other mission.
Please guys some little help will be welcome. I really want to play the game and its really annoying after getting stuck.

You rock man...the game works like charm even on my shitty pc....perhaps you wont believe it but this game works on my pc with the following specs:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 (Dual Core) 4400+
1 GB DDR RAM
Geforce 8500GT graphics card
this torrent works without any lags on low-medium settings on lowest resolution but still the game is worth playing.....i love it....shoroo you are great....you are the best ripper of the world perhaps...keep up the gud work....!!!!

i downloded rip version of gta iv first of all game works fine but when i changed games internal graphic setting game sudden get off automatically

Hey Shroo, i install the game but when i start it its writes that the launcher is not original and game will not start. I cracked it and then game starts and crashes. Do i need another crack? Or i dont install it right?

people i think this will solve the application failed to launch.
First Launch GTAIV.exe and create an account with rockstar Social Club,then log in with that account.

2.After you log in go back to where you installed gta iv and run LaunchGTAIV.exe.
3.Have fun!!

when i run setup.bat it starts extracting conerts maps123.are to maps123.pcf after that they get deleted and it becomes a small sized folder with fake files and cant run the game reply me on sayed_adeeb@yahoo.com

But the beginning sequence loads the car spawns and falls right into the water EVERYTIME...I updated my graphic card, direct x and everything. Then I patched and updated the game to its latest version GTA v1.7 and then cracked it. Same problem. Don't know what to do. Please HELP.
