Click the Windows "Start" button, "All Programs" and then the µTorrent icon to start the program.

Click "File" and select "Add Torrent." Locate the torrent file for the file transfer you want to continue and click "OK." Press the "..." button under "Save As" and locate the directory for the partially downloaded file you want to complete. Remove the check mark from the "Start Torrent" box and click "OK."

Click the torrent file in the main µTorrent window to highlight it. Right-click the file and select "Force Recheck." The program will now compare the partially downloaded file against the torrent you added to determine how much information is missing.

Right-click on the torrent again when µTorrent finishes rechecking the file and click "Start" to complete the file transfer.
