Any half-decent virus scanner should tell you exactly what it detected. A match to known malware in a blacklist should be taken seriously. A match to "hacker tools" and the like can obviously be ignored.
A match based on dubious "heuristics" can mean anything.
And of course, virus scanners detecting nothing sure as hell doesn't mean something is clean.
Makes me wonder why nobody ever uses GPG signatures when distributing stuff. Certainly not the scene, which seems to be stuck in a 1980 time warp.

In case you dimwits can't figure out how to install it, here's a guideline by the author:
Install ToMi_LairOfTheLeviathan_Setup.exe. After installation
copy precracked exe from the Crack folder to the installed folder
of Lair of the Leviathan, making sure to overwrite the existing
file. You now have a full version of Lair of the Leviathan!
Support The Devs, Buy The Season!!

I installed, replaced the thingy with the crack, but it doesnt work, I can only play the first episode till the monkey Island theme starts (when the boat explodes). I tried the second episode but also cant access the Main Menu to save it...so it seems its just a trial or something?

The sama thing happend to me. But I made an exeption in AVG to allow the Tales of Monkey Island folder. And then I could start the download again.

Yeah, you should play at least Monkey Islands 1-3 before, not necessarily the 4th one (escape from). They are great games and have funny stories.

Figured out why the crack wasn't working for me...
For AVG users: you need to go into "msconfig" from your start menu and go under your startup tab and disable the AVG internet security from your startup, and then under services disable the three items related to AVG. I would do this before even trying to download the torrent, but once i did that the cracks would run whereas they just acted like dead files before. Hope that helps.
