For the record, the 5.0.1 patch works fine, but the 5.0.2 patch gives me that error.
I even found the 5.0.4 patch and it gives me the same error....

5.0.2.2. crack works fine. First make your 5.1.4. crack work. Then you update with 5.0.2.2. and copy over the files included (crack). Then restart. If you are in VISTA, you MUST right click on LMTOOLS and run as administrator, also run NX5 as administrator. 5.0.2.2. update changes some things. You must run everything and I mean everything as administrator. Updated NX5 should work fine.

Hum, ok I'lll try it agian. I was just afraid of breaking it again. I am using vista x64 and I was pretty sure I ran everything in admin mode, but maybe I'll try again. I do have the 5.0.4.1 patch which I think can update any version to the newest.

Hy Iceaero. I am not sure 5.0.4.1. patch will work, beacuse I don't know if its already been cracked. The latest known patch to work is 5.0.2.2 which is provided with the crack files.

Yeah I've got the crack for 5.0.4.1, but I'm going to give 5.0.2.2 another chance, maybe I didn't run something in admin mode before, I'll see how it goes...
Should I use the command line to update? Or the .exe file?

Hello....firstly, thank you so much for this update, have been waiting for it a long time. I have one question about the installation though....after updating to 5.0.2.2, I copy the ugs_common.dll in the crack folder everywhere the old version appears right? and the same with libpart.dll (which only appears in one place). But do I need to use the license file included, or is the one from the orignial MAGNATUDE NX5 crack still okay to use? How do I make NX 5.0.2.2 use the nx5.lic file? I don't need to install the license server again, do I? I keep getting a NX license error, and I didn't have this problem until I updated to 5.0.2.2. I would just like to know what I do with the nx5.lic file?

Yes you must use the license file included
You don't need to install the license server again
Just open LMTOOLS and in Config Services tab change the Path to the license file

Thanks for your help, ilfo. That worked. One last question, though. I have the NX NASTRAN that was included with the NX Magnatude. I also replaced the ugs_common.dll found in Nastran with the one in THIS update, not the original crack. Is this correct? Because I cannot use Nastran. In fact, when I go to my NX log file, it says "Using ugii_env.dat file from C:\Program Files\UGS\NX 5.0\UGII", but when I edit the ugii_env.dat file variable to "UGII_NX_NASTRAN=C:\Program and restart, the NX log file still says "UGII_MSC_NASTRAN C:\Program
" which obviously isnt the correct directory, so I cannot run Nastran. For some reason the changes aren't appearing in NX, even though the env.dat file is showing the correct directory. Do you know the reason for this?

I,ve reintalled NX5 in my PC, and i can't open old files from nx5. My old files from nx3, from 2 year ago, I can. when I try, this message apears:
