ok so how the hell do i get this to work? i need instructions of something lol i just extracted everything into the /darkmessiah folder that i had from a previous single player torrent
and i click runme.exe which im guessing thats what i should do, and it comes up with this error to startup steam. so i startup steam and try it and it comes up with another error! then when i just try to launch mm.exe it crashes like 5 seconds after i hit the main screen

HOW TO GET THIS TO WORK:
1. DO NOT INSTALL THIS TO YOUR SINGLEPLAYER FOLDERS. SINGLEPLAYER AND MULTIPLAYER ARE TWO DIFFERENT GAMES!
2. RUN MM.EXE NOT RUNME.EXE [I don't know what runme.exe does actually :)]
3. YOU DON'T NEED NO CD KEY FOR THIS. It isn't copy protected
4. YOU DON'T NEED STEAM FOR THIS. It is nonsteam extracted version.

This is full stand-alone version. Can't be launched through singleplayer. That link in singleplayer just opens steam. And yes, you can connect to steam servers since there is no auth protection on this one

My last comment:It dosen't work afterall,There is no multiplayer files,every loader(MM.exe and others) Don't work. They come with error/crash.

I have the original game right next to me. But to get the multiplayer, I have to install the game - 7 GB hard drive - plus install steam, THEN download the multiplayer from steam, plus if I want to play it with friends, I have to extract the game from the gcf files.
But come on!!!! S E E D! 2 person is on 100% and they only seed with 10 and 18 kB/sec. I wish that two person will never have faster internet. I cannot believe, that in 2012 I get seed with only 50 kB/sec top.
Hell, I'm reseeding it faster as I download it.
Speed up that seed, I will not wait for 12 hours!
