i downloaded it and it came up missing a few files. msvcr70.dll , bfcprt.dll , and binkw32.dll. now for some reason it goes to the black screen when i start it up and then just reverts back to my desktop. anyone know whats up.

if it goes to a black screen than back to your desktop, chances are your computer doesn't have enough video memory handle the graphics/run the game

every time i run it it says to insert the right disc. how do you make it work

It does work, you just have to install the game(s), then run the patch and it'll work.
Note that it MIGHT not work with SOME specific video cards.

man, everything was fine on this game up until I started it. The screen went black as if it was going to start, the screen resolution even changed and then it just reverted back to my desktop...It's not the graphics card because I played BF1942 on this laptop before with no issues...anyone know what's up?

Can anyone plz sugest a fix for fixing the crashing problem when playing online while trying to load map? and why is it that after i tranfered my save file all the maps are unlocked and says i beat the game?
