So the truth leaks out and now all of the AGW propagandists are going into the "deny everything, make counter accusations" phase, how pathetic. This whole despicable phase in "modern science" hearkens back to the days of Galileo's prosecution by the "majority" that believed the Earth to be flat! So much for the scientific method, it's all about politics and grant money rather than facts anymore, so much for the benefit of humanity, the so called climate scientists and leftist politicians are worse than the inquisition!

sincere thanks to mike18xx for placing this online, and the hacker(s) who originally acquired this!!!
As a former off-road competitor here in our SoCal deserts, I've been monitoring as a hobbyist environmental eXtremism for a good couple dozen years.
With the few articles I've read about this 'leaked' information, it sounds good enough, amongst other things, to recall awards and prizes given to AlGore for his propaganda movie!
So to those who supplied this, I salute you!!!

Well, I'm writing this at about the time when the 'climategate 2' is thought to be released (if it exists), to coincide with the expiry date for any possible prosecution. How brave of these great heroic hackers - sorry, schills of oil-producing countries, associates of the merry band of vexatious FOIers and illiterate hate-mailers of professional climate scientists.
Sad to see so many people fell for this at the time, exhibiting the now nauseatingly familiar fallacies and fantasies of the denialist camp.
The 'Galileo Gambit'? Check. Hint: Galileo was a genius and a scientist up against ignorant believers, with denialists it's the other way around
Worldwide consensus of thousands of independent, competitive climate scientists actually an incredible conspiracy of hand-holding communists? Check!
@Bakonna Yeah, you really should have listened to your 'professor' - volcanoes actually cause brief global COOLING on the rare occasions of their eruptions.
The 'controversy' has been well and truly shown to be the result of out-of-context, selective blog mentality. If you've read the e-mails in context, be honest, did you understand them? Imagine you were hearing the conversation in a room - you would quickly tune out, rightly assuming you were unqualified to understand them.
Also: How often does someone use the word 'travesty' to refer to themselves or their group? A. Never. Hint: he was actually complaining about the lack of sensors, especially in the deep sea.
Good scientists want as much information as possible, whereas denialists want the least possible, in a vain attempt to delay the inevitable.
Hope the dupes above know better now, and I hope it's not too late for us...
