Good question. These days the savegames are sometimes hidden somewhere inside the user directory. Try searching in C:/users/[your name], could be there somewhere. And no, that is not the same as the 'my documents' folder.

ive played the demo of this and i thought it was kinda shit.... your supposed to be stealthy but when i was being stealthy it was failing me for being so slow... i had to run past enemies that for sum reason didnt see me, just to keep up with the speed it wants... if they aimed this for being a simulator then they failed. im glad you people are downloading it from here and not paying for it cos i dont think it deserves money reward to the developers.

the only solution for windowed mode is changing the resolution of your screen and the resolution of the game to the same number (example: if you put your screen res and the game to 1024x768 then it will be fullscreen). to change screen res press right click on desktop, click properties, then on settings, you can find it there. sry if you can't understand, I'm not english just trying to help ;)

i thought the sniper part of this game was pretty cool like 8/10 or somthing ish. But after a few chapters it forced me to run around with a machine gun and that was jsut fucking dreadfull... couldnt be arsed to play through it sinse the "close combat" was so bad.

I have to disagree with you, the game is actually quite nicely made, sure.. It might not be the most appealing for todays standards, but I certainly had plenty of fun with this game.. Just few times got annoyed by how easily some guards spot you through bushes that you can't see through yourself...
But sniping was definetly fun, anyways.. I'd have to say I prefered the sneaking part more in Alpha Protocol, but it's definetly not a bad game and download was very fast

Pretty good game. I get some glitches...even after update.
At the oil rig, my teammates are in an infinite loop on running motion in one place. they get stuck at a wall and can't get to the next check point. I had to waste around 200 rounds shooting at and around them to finally move them away from the wall. I had to do this a couple of times.
Then, at the level "Steal from under their noses" I get the the top of the hill at the village, the check point where blue lights are glowing, when I touch the check point, the sniper turns around the freezes...then EXITS out of the game!!! I tried numerous times, and when I get to the check point, same thing, freezes and exist out of the game...HELP!!!!
My rig: Q9400, 9800GT, 4G ram, directx June, everything up to date.

everything works great on the install, but as people have said before the game is much more challenging since enemys can shoot at you even if your move to different spots, they can shoot straight up in the air and still hit you, it makes it kind of frustrating but i'll probably give it atleast one more shot before uninstalling. I have HD4870 and this game for some reason crashes my GFX card after about 5 mins. I can still hear sound but no screen input, and before you ask, it's not overheating (60 degrees Celsius).
New GFX driver, also new GFX card and updated sound drivers. weird.
Currently testing with other games to see if it is indeed the card or the game.

The problem is that the game is garbage. I was pretty jacked up when I saw a new game dedicated solely to sniping but it's one of those controlling games that forces you to do it their way. Even when you take a boss the game will say he lived and progress the story their way. Awesome concept, terrible execution & game play.

I installed it all the way and installed both the extra pograms when it was finished and then went into the Skidrow file on the Dvd and copied over the 2 files from their into the Games Directory and whenever i try to start the game up i get a "Fatal Error Cannot Intialize Renderer"

The problem with the AI is that grass doesnt seem to register in their FOV.. it only seems to register 50% of the height kinda thing... also the areas are tiny! lots of distance between A and B, but nothing left and right.... way too narrow, and leaves no variation in getting through the level at all... go left of the map, kill all you see, go right of map, kill all you see, then walk right side and watch the middle... some levels the AI has super human sight and hearing, others they are walking zombies...
im about 50% of the way through, soon to delete... i cant believe i was a click away from buying this the other day!!! im so glad i didnt waste £30 on it! its like a PS1/2 game with makeup! yeah the "real" world physics are "realistic" and visuals are great, but replayability and playability are what counts...

open up Data0.pak with winrar
scroll down until u find ai_config.scr
open that in notepad
scroll down to were it says Paramater AI (or something like that it's in polish) under there you ca change all sorts of things that can make the game easier for you to be stealthy

How do I change the graphic settings, as soon as i turn them down it says I have to restart m game for it to take effect. I follow the instructions and the game closes, as it starts the graphics are the same as they were before, not changed? Anyone with solution? Finally a sound fix!! For all those who have image but no sound!
At least that is in my case. After finishing the game in no sound, and 4 days of googling and testing!
The game does not output to your main sound device!
So if you got a second sound device in Dxdiag, usually a modem device, you must get rid of it!
Only one sound tab and it must not being emulated. So increase the hardware acceleration.
Disable your modem device in hardware management (better to remove it physically, like I did!), and remove any drivers from the configuration panel -> phone and modem options!
Game is way better with sound! With 5.1 surround, you can even locate your enemies just by turning!!!
Hopefully will help somebody out there.

The crack works perfectly (like all Skidrow cracks), but the game itself sucks hard: graphics are bad, even on maximum settings, missions are boring, it's full of bugs, and AI isn't balanced at all (sometimes the enemies see you, even if you're a kilometer away from them and sometimes they don't see you in front of them). So don't waste your time and your HDD space and try another game.

Ok. Got it working at 100%. Works fine. Game isn't all that great, but i love the pink mist with awesome headshot graphics. Fucking great. I'd rate the game a 6.5-7/10. Could have been much better. The player moves much too slow and the AI enemies seem to be able to find you much too easily.

When you mount the iso, go to My computer, browse the cd and copy the content of the SKIDROW folder to the c:/programfiles/cityinteractive/sniper folder, look it up.

go right click on the folder that says CRACK and extract it anywhere on your PC
go to the folder where you installed the game
open the folder where you installed the game
go to where you extracted the CRACK folder
open the CRACK folder and copy both items
go back to the install folder City Interactive\Sniper Ghost Warrior
paste the two items from the Crack folder
right click on the game icon and put a copy on your desktop
now play the game
no SERIAL needed

Great torrent, works perfectly, it's a shame the game itself is a steaming pile of shite, don't get me wrong, there are a few moments that are very fun (when you actually get to snipe).
The rest of the game consists of horrible stealth mechanics where enemy can see you from huge distance, and through dense foliage.
Once you have alerted enemies you are obliged to kill them, which is a lot easier than staying quiet.
You then get into some normal shooter action, which is absolutely awful, the guns are horrible, when looking down your sights your aim moves as fast as when firing from the hip (normally sights provide higher precision), also moving up stairs is broken when crouching or strafing.
The level design is dreadful,it's like there is no thought put into getting around the level (when trying to navigate a level, I found myself in awkward dead ends too often)
The sniping mechanics are easy on easy/med difficulty, but its too stressful trying to get a one hit kill from a long distance on hard difficulty because of the speed at which the wind changes intensity and direction.
This is my quick review for this game, the conculsion is, download it if you want a few rather fun moments of sniping action, some 'ultra realistic' stealth sections and a huge load of awful FPS action which is not fun at all.
(It's hard to find a solid review of this game so there you go)

@Shane 2774, make sure you have updated your DirectX. Just google DirectX End user runtime, it's straight from microsoft. If it's not the driver itself, it may be that the DirectX dll is missing from your game directory, so also a clean install may benefit if driver update does not.

Pefect torrent. Steps for all those new to Torrents and mounting. rnOk - notice all these people using DAEMON tools? This is for \'mounting\' an image. Ok so google DAEMON tools and download the programme. Now the ISO file is the main Unzip file you will download when you open the torrent. Now, use Daemon tools to open this file. It will then install the game for you. Now, Daemon tools makes it seem like there is a Disk in your drive that it is reading the file off - so instead of running the disk right-click and open \'Explore\' - now in there is a file called \'Skidrow\' - open this file and copy the two items in there. Now - paste these files into the main directory of where you installed the game and it should ask if you want to replace a file as it is a duplicate you are about to paste in there. Accept this and overwrite it. Now when you start the game it should run fine :)

Ok, so I've played a few missions. It's not as bad as most make it out to be. The graphics could be better. For example I was by a truck and noticed it was sorta just in mid air rather than on the ground as it should be. This game's best feature would have to be it's Sniper Elite like feature of following the bullet. Sniper Elite should totally have a sequel on PS3. They would make a pissload of money of it. I mean look at all hype this game got and it's nothing special at all. It is somewhat entertaining tho. Sniping is fun in general. I use to enjoy sniping on Ghost Recon on PS2 back in the day. Having Sniper in the title sells itself.

I had a problem with no sound, brand new computer build with all the latest drivers, finally figured it out , you have to go to program files/game directory. Open
Direct X file, stroll down & hit DX SETUP. And thats it.
Finally sound.
This game does suck, You get all these guys shooting at you, but you can't see them. Your getting shot from all over, then you die.

I liked the game. You can't just barge around shooting everything in sight(which is maybe why so many of these comments say the game is hard)...but you also dont have to crawl around for ages to get anywhere. A nice paced game.

I had nothing wrong with this torrent. It downloaded super fast and installed smoothly. The .Bin files, I didn't have to do anything with them. I just started the setup, and when it was done, I copied the crack into the directory I installed the game in on my computer. @ ahen,somehow you need to change the resolution,i had the same prob with other games.
I mean that ur screen doesn't support the default resolution of the game installation.you have to go to c:/program files/sniper e.ct. ,find a .cfg (that means configuration file) * (or sth like that) and open it with a notepad.
then,you will see the resolution.change it to match your screen res.

Alright. For all the freaking noobies out there...
1.) Download Virtual Clone drive...Install.
2.) Right click iso, Mount. Now, you should turn your internet off.
3.) Go into my computer, the mounted image, (Right click explore)
4.) Open the crack folder, there may be a readme, get the serial. There should be a .exe.
5.) Install, Enter serial given.
6.) DONT OPEN GAME.
7.) Copy and paste the cracked .exe into the games directory.
8.) Play.

Dudes, i did it! I've made it to play the game.
What you'll have to do when you don't understand all that computer language, just do this:
you have to copy the sniper_x86.exe file from the skidrow folder, to the directory folder.
You can find the folder after installing, when you go to "Program Files" and open the folder named City Interactive.
Then open the folder Sniper Ghost Warrior.
Right there you have to paste the file in the map.
Then your pc asks you if you want to overwrite it.
Click yes and you have the game.

shortly:
1) install sniper ghost warrior
2) Copy sniper_x86.exe in the skidrow folder.
3) then go to Program Files
4) open the folder City Interactive and than Sniper Ghost warrior
5) when you opened the sniper ghost warrior folder, paste it and overwrite it.
6) have fun with playing!

Sorry guys, I'm really new to torrenting games...
So I tried just installing the game and replacing the .exe with the "cracked" .exe from the SKIDROW folder. It doesn't work because I'm missing a d3dx9_39.dll in my system. I downloaded it and put it in the System32 folder, and the game still doesn't work.
So I tried the regular way that was said in the info box. The only problem is, how am I suppose to mount an icon/image? It's not an .iso, so I doubt there is any data in there...
I've also tried the different steps from other comments. None seem to work.
I have both Virtual Clone Drive and Daemon tools, if that says anything.
Someone please help, would be really great if I could play this game soon. Thanks! :D

I just go to the game folder after you have installed game and delete the sniper game application then go to the disk and open up the skidrow folder copy and paste the game app. to the installation folder and play. How could it be any easier. Thanks again extremezone.

Advice about the .dll problems. Never go to a site to download the .dll's, it's extremely unsafe to do so. A better course of action is to just download the latest version of directx to make sure you have all the .dll's that most pc games require.
And question, my computer doesn't run fast enough to play this game on the highest graphics like it automatically sets itself to and every time I try to change the graphics and restart the game so they are on best performance it automatically goes back to best quality instead. Is there a way I can change this to actually try to game?

People with sound problems: Go to the installed map (program files ....) and klick on DirctX, scroll down to the middle and press the on hte application "DXSETUP" and install it , then launch the game. had the problem to, really stupid to not install dirctX 9.0

copy both of them and paste them in the folder you installed which should be in program files.
now you can play the game and no serial needed.
now i have a retarded problem too, when i enter the game and go to options and make all the settings lowest, i click ok and then it tells me to quit the game so i click ok again.
then i reenter the game and the settings were reseted to high again.. wtf? how do i make it stay low graphics??

Tries to emulate CoD but doesn't come close, they even have the same hidden laptop that you try to find.
Aiming sniper rifles is easy but assault rifles is a pain.
The bullet cam is cool for the first 10 times, then just becomes an unnecessary pause in the gameplay (you can't skip it). The last two chapters become significantly more challenging than the rest, to the point of frustrating.

@tussax Sounds like your computer can't handle this game. Take note, if you don't have at least 8gigs of RAM, you can't play a game very well. Some games crash when played on a computer that doesn't meet the requirements, and I think that's the problem you have. I can play this game just fine, but when I put it on my girlfriend's laptop, it crashed when she started it because her computer didn't meet the requirements. If you have Vista or 7, click Start and right click on Computer then go down to Properties and make sure you meet the requirements. Also, there are some sites that will scan your computer for a certain game, try that too.

.DLL ERROR FIX=====> i dont know if this works with everyone but i installed this games 4 times doing EXACTLY what skidrow said to do. same stupid message everytime. so guess what i did and it worked 1sdt time i did it?
1. mount the image
2. install
3. checkmark both boxes at the end of installation and hit finish
4. go to program files, citi interactive. open the direct x folder and run the setup for that.
5. now go to skidrow folder and cope ONLY the sniper_x86 file...do NOT copy the skidrow one.
6. go to program files, citi interactive, and paste sniper_x86
YOU ARE DONE...FINALLY! skidrow. thanks for the upload man sound and everything works the way i just explained, but next time, check your own advice. this really confused me forever today and drove a lot of us crazy. thank though.

OK This sounds like a Laptop or PC with AutoSelect in the Graphics setup in the BIOS this MUST be set Manually or errors can occur with the DirectX application within Sniper.

What you need to do is copy the files in the SKIDROW folder (on your disc) to the folder you installed the game is for example: C:\Program Files\City Intervention\Sniper Ghost Warrior.
Choose overwrite. Then the new file is where you open the game with and it works perfectly.

great game and a great torrent. Only prob is enemy AI is idiotic I was completely hidden with my rifle behind Rocks/trees/leaves and I made the perfect shot then even though In real life noone would ever know they turn to where you are and start firing.

For everyone having trouble finding the SKIDROW file, it is within the iso file. Use something like 7zip to extract, then copy/paste.

oh silly windows 8... -_- smh. i don't have experience with w8 but im hoping they didnt get rid of compatibility mode... anyway run the game and if theres issues try right clicking on it (if windows 8 didnt remove every freaking function) and run in compatibility mode. again not sure how well windows 8 handles things like these... but its worth a shot. If theres still hope for microsoft -_-

Try looking for a file of which is named something along the lines of "settings" or "config". Inside this file you should be able to manualy edit your video/audio settings.

3. Copy the content from the SKIDROW folder on the DVD to your installation directory and overwrite
4. Play the game!
p.s. after 4-5 uninstall and reinstal search the problem
= when you copy content SKIDROW select "Copy and Replace" ;)
