Alright guys i downloaded it and played it and i've now ben playing for about 1 hours on low settings, all other versions of this simply did not let me play past 20 min but i think this is the one...the good one >_>. Although i should point out i'm using direct 9x not 11x becuase i'm taking abit of precautions and i hqve everything in low settings. will bump it up to direct 11x and then put stuff on high. dont worry mulder00,
it skipped and crushed for me.
skiped and crushed first time but after i used task manager to shut it down
and tryed again
want thought the opening moving then waiting a little while and it works after that :)

I tried 3 times shutting it down with the task manager..re-installing it..but it still won't get past the opening.

I have the same problem than "yourmomisinthehouse": there is no desktop icon which appear after the step 2. When I run Setup.bat, there is window which appear. It is written: "press any key to continue". I press enter. Then, the window works. And there is written angain: "press any key to continue". I press enter. Now, normally, a desktop icon should appear on the desktop, but no. There is no icon which appear. I don't find the problem. Can you help me please ?
PS: I used 7zip to extract
