Description:

This torrent contains a 7-zipped VMWare image for MacOX 10.4.8 (created from JaS AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1 & PPF2 image). VMWare Workstation ACE Edition 6.0.2 build-59824 was used for image creation. Use 7zip (http://www.7zip.org) to unpack and enjoy the best OS ever. P.S. WinRAR gave me a 1.8G file on maximum compression, while 7-zip produced less than a 1.4G file (22% less!). Save ya time, go open source!

You need to download VMWare to use this.
I'm using this one.

Dear all,
The installation dosent work on my AMD based system with vmware 6.4
After the grey Apple screen, an error box appears, then it goes into verbose mode and into infinite loop of streaming text. This problem has also been earlier reported by many users specially with AND Procs. And how to convert the *.vdmk file into a real partition. or alteast get the osx to work.
P.S I have tried it running with guest OS as WinNT but it didnt work.....
Help is very much appreciated.

Sorry for double post.

UR VM image is in suspended state, and moreover it is created in intel based system...that screws up every thing....unless and untill the install image is edited to work with AMD base, the os cannot ever boot in an AMD setup unless it is cretated and is in unsuspended i.e in power off condition....so no luck for AMD base owners. POoooooOOffFFF LOL

latumiller (2008-08-19)

So close and yet so far! Installed successfully up to starting the guest OS and bang!, I'm told the guest OS that you kindly uploaded "beasteg" is for 64-bit machines only (or at least created on one). Can we reconfigure our way around this, or am I missing something, or it's just too bad?

CaptainJack2221 (2008-09-29)

Yea i'm getting the error of 64 bit too. But i am running on a pentium dual core 64-bit! WTF?

Rxp1970 (2008-10-18)

Can't open VM...telling me snapshot is read-only...help!!!!
Thanks everyone this site rocks!!!

Rxp1970 (2008-10-18)

Figured it out...I am running Vista and had to run VMware "As administrator" and that fixed the problem!!!

PROTEOUS271158 (2009-12-09)
