Has anyone been able to get this to work fully with the waypoints and the directional pointing arrow?

the addon works, partially. Perhaps it was working fully with 3.0.2, but with 3.0.3 the addon doesn't communicate properly with tomtom to input the coords on each step. I have been using it by doing it manually if the addon step says go to 54,60 type
/way 54 60
this is a work around until an updated version comes out

Ahh, I see. Appreciate that, Xanth. The old Cartographer maps were annoying me, as I was unable to navigate them with the mouse and was forced to use the dropdown box. I should be able to pair this with the new Cart now. Hopefully the updated one will be posted soonish :D
