Unfortunately the first three episodes have burned-in English "closed captions" which are not a separate track that could be removed. It appears that this is only a problem for the first three episodes, though -- I've only opened a few more but some from series two are fine.

Yeah! Gret upload! But for the seasons, there was not 5 episodes in season 8, only one episode for each season 8,9,10,11 and 12! No big deal, but anyway! : ) You can check that on IMDB ? Thx!

As for the hard-coded subs on the first three episodes... sorry, it was my first try in making DivX-files and I couldn't be bothered creating new ones when I noticed it.
And I'm aware of the seasons 8-12, but they were packaged as a season 8 in the box so it was easier to name them as such...
Otherwise, I hope you enjoy them... It is a great series and my mission in putting them out there (on a couple of RS-sites, actually) was that as many people as possible would get the chance to acquaint themselves with the wonderful character that is... Endeavour Morse

Is the upload actually slow or is it my computer? However I have been able to download other stuff pretty fast compared to this one. Will appreciate if this can be accelerated a little bit. I love Inspector Morse...I'm looking for # 27 and
# 28 as I've seen all the ones before that...there's no way that I can download all these, no space for it..it's wonderful that you put this up, but wish it could be broken down into episodes.
