These songs where recorded back in the eraly seventhies. Title means (if you don't get the french) "russian and gypsy songs", indicating the typical communist distinction. Some of the songs in here are just a bit to bright and shiny for my taste, but there is also some very nice orchestration of some of the more melancholic themes, and some fabulous russian accordeon. The cover does however not provide any information about the performing artists other than, of course, Sarah Gorby.
