Total Annihilation Alcohol 120% AccurateRip Flawless Audio Track

Description:
This is essentially the same bunch of files but I had to create a new torrent
because my torrent wasn't accepted as upload to certain sites because of
BitComet's padding, and some don't like scrapeless trackers. So I created a new
torrent without padding & without the scrapeless trackers.
You can say this is version 3.

Beyond Compare 2.4.3 used to generate snapshot (CRC checksums).
RapidCRC 0.6.1 used to generate SFV.
Alcohol 120% 1.9.8.7612 used to image CDs 1 & 2.
In Alcohol 120% I used the Play Station profile & maximum read speed. Then
I used dBpoweramp 13.2 to AccurateRip the physical CDs & the image CDs as
uncompressed wave files (and moving them to separate folders). Then I
CRC compared (using Beyond Compare) the AccurateRips between physical ones
and imaged ones. They all matched for both CDs 1 & 2. I was very surprised
especially when I used maximum 24x speed in Alcohol 120%.
I have generated the CRC checksums as Beyond Compare snapshot and RapidCRC
SFV files for you to check yourself. I guarantee you that these CD images
are perfect one-to-one copies of the original CDs.
Q. Why go to extreme lengths just to image a simple game?
A. The game has an original orchestral soundtrack composed by Jeremy Soule
and performed by the 96-piece Northwest Sinfonia orchestra. The music
changes according to events: during a battle, louder and more frantic
music plays. During post-war damage repair or idle construction, a more
ambient and mysterious track is played. The soundtrack is in CD-audio
format and can be listened to with ordinary CD players. An ordinary
music CD can be inserted once the game is under way and can replace
the original game music with its own tracks. It is even possible to
program such custom CD tracks to the various battlefield situations
(conflict, construction, defeat, etc) like the default set.
It was imperative to rip the audio tracks flawless so that no errors
or jitter is recorded into the image. Plus, the audio tracks were
ripped so accurate that the mounted images are accurate enough to pass
AccurateRip (using dBpoweramp or Exact Audio Copy).
Q. What about other CD imaging programs?
A. I have tried & tested:
- CloneCD 5.3.1.4
- BlindWrite 6.2.0.8
- DiscJuggler 6.00.1400
- Daemon Tools Advanced 4.30.0305
- PowerISO 4.4
for imaging a plain audio CD. Each one manage to pass the AccurateRip
test using dBpoweramp. However when I tried them for TA game CD, all
the audio tracks failed (they did not CRC match). So I was disappointed
especially at CloneCD. Though all programs read the CD at maximum
speed (24x), so probably would've been better at the slowest speed.
However Alcohol 120% managed flawless rips at maximum (24x) speed.
Going back to the above programs at slower speed will be another time.
Other programs I didn't try but curious to are:
- CD Mate 2.5.4.17 (though I couldn't find a mount program to use)
- CDRWIN 4.0G
- MagicISO 5.5.274
- UltraISO 9.33.2685
- WinISO 5.3
Q. Which program can set read speed & have different profiles?
A. Yes, to do the next experiement of ripping at slower speeds:
- Alcohol 120% [YES, YES]
- CD Mate [YES, YES]
- CDRWIN [YES, NO BUT CONFIGURABLE]
- CloneCD [NO, YES]
- BlindWrite [NO, YES]
- DiscJuggler [YES, NO]
- Daemon Tools Advanced [YES, YES]
- MagicISO [?, ?]
- PowerISO [NO, NO]
- UltraISO [?, ?]
- WinISO [?, ?]

X! means max read speed (eg. 24X) and cannot change/set in program
X? means max read speed used but it was possible to change/set in program
1. Image 3 or 4 plain music CDs.
2. AccurateRip (dBpoweramp) to offset virtual drive (Daemon Tools Advanced).
2.1 To be able to offset virtual drive you need virtual music CDs.

Since I didn't get accurate rip of track 07 from Vitality CD1 I thought to do
again.
"Vitality_CD1_UltraISO9332685" (BIN X!) ACCURATERIP -TRACK07
But 99.99% of my 4 CDs above were verified by AccurateRip's online database.

I only use CD imaging programs that can read mix mode & set read speed to 4X.
Surprisingly Alcohol 120% was able to rip at 24X maximum speed and was CRC
verified on both data & audio.
TA1 - Alcohol 120% 1.9.8.7612 (PlayStation X?) CRC MATCH BOTH
TA2 - Alcohol 120% 1.9.8.7612 (PlayStation X?) CRC MATCH BOTH
Other programs I attempted ripping at maximum speed fails the CRC checking for
audio. So I redid them again at 4X and then they matched CRC audio & data.
TA1 - DiscJuggler 6.00.1 (N/A 4X) CRC MATCH BOTH
TA2 - Nero Burning ROM 6.6.1.15c (Mixed Mode 4X) CRC MATCH
TA1 - Daemon Tools Advanced 4.30.0305 (Mixed Mode 4X) CRC MATCH BOTH
