Only do this AFTER using Hellboys crack and key!
A good way to keep this from updating the software and locking you out time and time again is to go into the Driver Genius directory, locate DriverGenius.cfg , right click on it, select Properties, click the Security tab, Select Edit... , Select your login account , then Select the check mark box under Allow for Full control , Click OK.
Now you can Right click on DriverGenius.cfg , click on Open , in the popup select the radio button for 'Select a program from a list of installed programs' and click OK. Now locate Notepad , uncheck the 'Always use the selected program to open this kind of file' then click OK.
You will see some text now in Notepad, locate:
[LiveUpdate]
DatabaseVersion=DatabaseVersion
DatabaseURL=DatabaseURL
SoftwareVersion=SoftwareVersion
SoftwareURL=SoftwareURL
And then delete ONLY:
SoftwareVersion=SoftwareVersion
SoftwareURL=SoftwareURL
Click 'File' , 'Save As...' , in the 'Save as type:' box at the bottom click in and select 'All Files (*.*)' , now select DriverGenius.cfg , and click 'Save'.
Pop-up, Do you want to replace it? Click YES.
Now when you update, it completely skips updating the Software and potential fixes to our cracks. You can update the driver database without further worry. Have fun!

BTW, I've found the whole "register" thing isn't needed. Just install as ussual, copy and paste the crack, and do what Tribellion said on page one. In case your too lazy to click page one, Tribellion said:

People shouldn't be paying for a program that installs drivers automaticly. If you buy a Macintosh notebook you don't need drivers, if you buy a Windows notebook they should make this a standard program!

dont know why,but i installed this on two different pc's and on both i had to copy the crack into installation folder run the program wait till it asked for a key then exit the program and copy and paste the crack for a second time and it worked. no need for the registry key. hope that helps....

I would suggest that you take Trib's hard work, add it to the cofig file, save and make a copy to put in the Crack folder and keep it for later use.
Everything worked just fine. Though for those in the x64 environment that may be new, you will need to take "ownership" of the config file to save it as such which is easy enough to do. Right click, select, "Security" and change your setting there to take complete control.

You can get the latest update for this easily:
1) Run the update
2) Overwrite the updated .exe and .reg files with cracked ones and you got yourself the latest database.

copy both crack files into the c:\program files\driver-soft\driver genius folder
this will overwrite 1 file. then run it doing update. close it, then copy the crack files over again overwriting once more. now you have the newest version of database.

Guys, the serial given for the updated version does not work. It just says restart program to apply serial and then keeps asking you for it in a loop.
BUT YOU CAN UPDATE.
Just install normally (don't copy crack or reg.key), and update when it asks you to. Then after it updates/when it asks you for a serial just say no.
Close the program and copy the crack and reg.key to the install folder. You will then have an updated database and be able to use the program. I updated to 10.0.0.761.
You could probably get a few more updates out of it too, at least until they catch on.

What's most important, however, is the Driver Database which does indeed remain updated.

Great program. Seems to work fully. Only problem I had was that the Reg wasn't working. It would give me a window's error. I was able to work around it. Before you paste the crack in the program folder click the "Live Update" and run it. Then paste the crack and open the program. Just decline to update the program and repeat the process if you feel like you need to update it.

For anyone having trouble with the register part..
It's pretty easy just paste the crack once in the install folder, then run it and update everything.
Then re-paste the crack and run the program again :)

HOW TO INSTALL:
After copying the crack into the default directory, start the program. Soon you will notice that you can't download the drivers because you don't have any serial. The solution is really simple. Just copy the crack over one more time and everything should be Ok:) And if not, idk...

Several people have already posted the instructions on how to install this, but I'll post it again just so any new DL'ers don't have to search thru all the comments if they need help.
1: Go into the Setup folder and run Setup
2: After installing, run Driver Genius and allow the Updater to run
3: Close Driver Genius
4: Go into the Crack folder and copy both files (DriverGenius.exe and Register.key) into the installation folder.
And there you go. It works like a charm. Thanks again [HB]

The program works fine, but you have to copy and paste the contents of the crack folder after every time you update the driver database. Otherwise, you won't be able to download and install drivers.

Thanks uploader. Works flawless. First install, then crack it, then update, then scan it. It will ask for serial number. Say No. Close the program. Re-apply crack again and that it. You are good to go. It fixed my outdated drivers. So each time you update, just re-paste the crack again, and it works like a magic.
