Long ago and drunk off my ass, my brother said "Hey bro, you gotta see this shit!" This movie is what created my passion for Japanese animation. It is and always will be the one movie that changed the way I look at this world -- Talk all the trash you wish but I'm a graphic designer, and an animator's apprentice in college and you could "blame" it all on this one movie. It deserves more recognition than it already has (and trust me, Ninja Scroll has had alot) and I will personally tear the arms off of anybody that says otherwise (BTW a beautiful scene you'll see in this movie) -- It is the what many anime movies are compared by anymore despite how old it is -- Download this -- You'll not regret it bud.

This was one of the first animes I had ever seen as well, extremely graphic for someone my age, (I believe I was 9 years old at the time) but I loved it. Sparked my future interest in anime. This is a must-have. I hope the video/audio quality is as good as this movie.

Just wanted to say a BIG thanks to PistolPete01 for this tremendous UL! Like Manster42002, I first saw this late at night after work, except it was back when IFC used to show Anime (not sure if they still do). Think they used to call it "Ani-Mondays,' so maybe it was Monday nights; can't recall for certain.
Anyway, Ninja Scroll is beyond EPIC and it is what got me and my then bf, now fiance, into anime! After this, we came back to IFC on that same night the next week and they started running Basilisk!!! Which is another one of my all time fav animes.
