The film centers around a young man (Harrison) who is smarter than his peers, and is not affected by the usual \"Handicapping\" which is used to train all Americans so everyone is of equal intelligence. Directed by Bruce Pittman. Screenplay by Arthur Crimm , from the Story by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. Sadly, this movie never made it to DVD, so i offer up the best quality version i have... This was capped from a 1995 VHS recording i made of a Showtime broadcast. Thanks. It is uploaders-- and uploads-- like this one that make torrent sites a major resource for the preservation and transmission of culture that would otherwise be lost for all practical purposes. Came looking for either or both of the two Dave Soldier oratorios, "A Soldier's Story" and "Ice-9 Ballads" written and narrated by Kurt Vonnegut,and found this instead.
