Its telling me that it cant record because it cant connect to the internet

Downloaded and installed without problem.
When opening the program i get "invalid license key" even though i input the code that came with the program.
The solution to this problem is this :
1. Start the program.
2. As soon as the program windows appears press the mode button. (Mine says ADA).
3. Wait 10 seconds
4. Close down the mode selection window.
This way the program wont go online to check if the key is valid.
Working here every time.
