On all installations of Windows - when the PC reboots for the first time during installation (just after Windows files have copied) then you will see a driver selector pop up. You have one minute to choose which drivers you want to include, if you let the timer count down, then the default drivers will be included which are: Chipset, CPU, Lan Ethernet, Sound and Wireless LAN. If you want to include the graphics drivers then you will need to be there to tick the three boxes on the driver selector. UNATTENDED INSTALLATIONS... All six Windows installations are fully unattended. After installation, you should open the eXPerience desktop folder and then open the "Keyboard Settings" folder. With these unattended installations, all keyboards are set to "US English". WINDOWS UPDATES... All of these installations include all of the required "security only" hotfixes, updating the OS to October 2011. Later versions of Internet Explorer and Windows Media Player are not added. This includes the original IE6 and original WMP9/10 but they are also securely patched with their respective updates, to October 2011. ________________________________________________________________________ - Windows XP Professional SP3 This is the complete Windows XP Professional SP3 x86 updated to October 2011 with security hotfixes. This edition has the original IE6 and WMP9. Everything is updated. Nothing at all is removed. - TinyXP Rev12 This is a cut down version of Windows XP Professional SP3 x86 updated to October 2011 with security hotfixes. This edition has the original IE6 and WMP9. Everything is updated. Many items are removed in this version, which is approximately half the size of full Windows XP. This version removes Chinese, Japanese and Korean languages, Movie Maker, Internet Information Services (IIS) and various other items. To check exactly what is removed, open the "Last Session.ini" file here on the DVD: "XP02\$OEM$\Last Session.ini" and look under the section "[Components]" to see what is removed. - MicroXP v0.87 This is a very small version of Windows XP Professional SP3 x86 updated to October 2011 with security hotfixes. This edition does not include Internet Explorer or Windows Media Player at all. Everything is updated. This edition is about as cut down as it can be and is only intended for gaming and squeezing life out of the oldest computers, however, many people use this version full time and use all the same programs and play all the same games as on full XP. Programs most likely not to work with this edition are gigantic Microsoft apps like Microsoft Office. Other software that relies on MDAC or the Jet Database will not work, because those items are removed. This version of Windows is less than a quarter of the size of full Windows. An extreme amount of components are removed, to check exactly what is removed, open the "Last Session.ini" file here on the DVD: "XP03\$OEM$\Last Session.ini" and look under the section "[Components]" to see what is removed. Then also look under the section "[RemoveFiles]" to see individual files also removed. ________________________________________________________________________ - Windows Server 2003 SP2 The three versions of Windows Server 2003 are roughly the same as the above XP versions in terms of what is removed. So the full Server 2003 has nothing at all removed, Tiny2003 has the same items taken out as TinyXP has (but UDDI and Windows Media Services are removed in 2003) and the same goes for Micro2003, it has pretty much the same files removed as MicroXP does. ________________________________________________________________________ WHY IS SERVER 2003 INCLUDED ANYWAY? I found all the way back in 2003 when Windows Server 2003 was released that it runs faster and better than XP. This is something home users simply do not know anything about, but once you try Server 2003 you will realize Explorer is faster, copying files is faster, loading and using programs and games is faster... but the catch is a few programs will not install on a Server (or as they sometimes call it a ".NET Server" operating system). Luckily these are mostly blocks on .MSI files and there are included fixes in the desktop eXPerience folder to get around this blocking of installation. Once installed, the apps work just as they do on XP and it is often the case that the only reason you couldn't use the program on Server 2003 was the MSI file that installs the program was coded to deliberately refuse to install on a Server operating system. For EXE files there is also a fix, using "Application Verifier" to fool whatever you're installing into thinking the OS is XP SP3. Server 2003 on this DVD is intended to be used as a workstation OS and all three installations of Server 2003 are tweaked that way. ________________________________________________________________________ To install Windows from this DVD, set your PC up so it will boot from the CD/DVD-ROM in the PC's BIOS. You do not need any product key for any of the installations. ________________________________________________________________________ DRIVERS You have the following drivers included: - Chipset --------> (included by default) - CPU ------------> (included by default) - Graphics -------> (NOT included by default!) - LAN Ethernet ---> (included by default) - SATA -----------> (included by default) - Sound ----------> (included by default) - Wireless LAN ---> (included by default) When the PC reboots for the first time during installation (just after Windows files have copied) then you will see a driver selector pop up. If you do not catch this in time, or are not sat at the PC when this driver selector has timed out (after one minute) then all the drivers will extract - bear in mind, this will take a few gigabytes of disk space. If you do not want to extract the driverpacks, make sure you are sat at the PC after the files have copied and it reboots. The alternative to that is to make your own standalone ISO from the ISO folder on the DVD. This way there is no timer, or driverpacks. ________________________________________________________________________ eXPerience folder (Desktop) Most of these folders contain quick solutions to things that otherwise would be buried away in the Windows GUI, or require DOS style commands. The folder differs from XP to Server 2003. Thanx Man. I have been waiting for a long time for an update and you have given us a bunch of OS in single dvd.
Btw I was trying to install using usb. I used softwares like win2flash and PetoUSB. But it didnt boot. But when I wrote the dvd image as bootable using UltraISO. it atlast boot from usb, BuT I get an error "testsetup.sif" corrupt or missing status 18". Can you help out with it. Alot of people like me want to install on netbooks but cant due to no optical drives on em.

This is really great, it runs sooooooooooooooo fast and I really have no problems with it except........ when I tried to install and run unreal 2K4 it keeps giving me an error saying: The application has requested the runtime to terminate it an in unusual way. Please contact teh applications support team for more information" this same game installed perfectly on my moms computer but not on mine only difference being that I'm running your custom win xp and she has the official slow as shit one.

Just wanted to say THANK YOU for this! I have a Dell PC that is out of warranty and did not come with a physical WinXP CD and the "recovery" partition was accidentally deleted. Installed TinyXP, and now it's faster and better than it ever was! And XP is still supported by Micro$oft for over 2 more years! I also followed the OptimizeXP guide to make it perfect, along with dual-booting one of the excellent free Linux distributions...

option 2) INSTALL: TinyXP Rev12 (October 2011) seems to by missing credssp.dll... It is required to RDP into Win7/2008 boxes that are using NLA. See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/951608 for further details.
Resolution: DL XP SP3 and find credssp.dl_. This is an archive; 7-zip will open it. Drop credssp.dll into %WINDIR%System32
I don't know if any of the other versions have this issue.

Hey eXPer1ence. Using Tiny7 Rev01 for ages :D still the best windows yet. BUT when are you going to release TINY7 SP1 with all the updates `till 2012 ? I can't install IE9 on Tiny7 Rev01 and IE8 is giving me lots of errors. I've been trying to strip a Win7 SP1 to make it just like your Tiny7, but it still lags and takes up a lot of space.

I installed Softmaker Office 2010 silent by it self on another system. While using it it detected that it was pirated and refused to save any of my work. I will re-image to be sure all traces are gone. Kind of sucks because it was a nice lite office program.

I never did get any of these to install over USB. Tried everything suggested in the forums. It's like waiting for snow in the Arizona desert.
I extracted all 3 and tried installing Tiny Xp from CD. No go there either. BSOD because some files wouldn't copy over properly during install phase. (Tried forum solution there too.)
VirtualBox install of TinyXP is wonderful. Sure wish I could get this onto my netbook without DVD. :-( CD install was for test to a Desktop system.
Oh, I also tried creating an Image of the VirtualBox installation with both EaseUS and Acronis, then restored from USB using "universal restore" option. EaseUS couldn't detect OS version, and Acronis restored it but gave me BSOD when I booted into TinyXP. I'm exhausted. Back to plain old XP I guess.

I want this torrent, so bad. Supposedly, there are 24 seeds out there right now, but I always can't seem to get it to fully download. Usually, it was because, I just never had time to let it finish off slow, free, public wifi, but I now think that out of all of these 24 seeds none of them are complete copy's or something. I don't know what cyclic redundency check means; even though, its a mere "google" away. I'll probably get into that afterwards. Exper1ence, you are one of the greatest experiences, I have ever had in life. If I could download one last torrent, for the rest of my life, it would be this one. Sadly, I burned tried to burn this when it first came out, but I was too broke to buy any blank DVD's. Then, something happened in my life, that made it completely pointless to even think about, or even really use, technology for about a year. Now, I'm trying to get back into the tech game, stumbled accross this, nearly nutted a little bit in my pants, and then have stuporred into a great depression, as I'm realizing I'll probably never get a chance to have this ISO. It's like everything I ever wanted. I always used your Tiny XP before this, and even Tiny Vista from time-to-time (Once in a great while, I couldn't get a peice of hardware to work in XP no-matter-what, lol.) Right now, I still have a working copy of Tiny XP Rev 09, and I'm wicked happy with it. Thanks for all the convenience and awesome ness. I hope that one day, another complete seed will pop up, and I will get to use this amazing torrent. Best I've ever seen on TPB.

I feel like a fool asking this, but I suppose its the desperation. Does this mean 100% that its a different ISO? Can anything else change the MD5? Say, for example, someone were to burn the ISO, then, later on in life, create another ISO from that dvd. It would be the same ISO, but it would probably have a different MD5... right? I could, probably, figure that out with a lil googleing? Huh? I'll be damned if I'm gonna waste a DVD!

Hey there, I'm loving this release but only problem I have is that the Tiny xp version does not have terminal services available. Ive tried manually installing it but even after getting it to show up in the services menu it wont work. Is there any insight you can give on this? or at least add the feature if you plan to make a rev 13. Thanks for the great upload :)
ps. I cant get norton installed on the tiny xp that is why terminal services concerns me.
